Wouldn't alternate universes pretty much never have anyone who actually looks like you because the random nature of allele expressions would lower the chances of finding your "twin" greatly? Heck, your parents would also look pretty different too, probably, and so on and so forth. Factor in the chances of universes with your parents not getting together, or your grandparents, on back and back, and probably doing it with totally different people, and the chances of finding "you" seems to go down pretty low.

Not to mention universes where the Aztec Empire developed steel weapons and gunpowder and conquered Eurasia. Those universes are really going to be messed up genetically.

Although I suppose with enough time you could find "you", except with a cleft chin that looks all manly and clefty.

EDIT: My alternate self is posing manly and boldly for women on magazine covers.

I'll bet Alternate Universe Mauve rides a jet-propelled hoverbike and fights crime. She probably wears super-cool dark sunglasses all the time and never has to worry about internet failure.
