That said they are still largely a white damage class whose primary potential is in slowing things down, and not so much in spike. Too bad. :/ If you change your mind you're obviously always welcome.

Sounds quite nice for a start. But it still leaves the problem of Gattling gun being linked with Revolvers and Grenade Launcher linked with Shotguns open.

I guess I'll give it a try in some time. Maybe after getting a new PC. :P

That statement is true no matter when I am addressed.

Would that mean that you're more of a bastard than the average person, or that you're always reaching new heights in the field of bastardry?

My God, it all makes sense. Shiney is some douchey form of Yogi Bear.

All kidding aside, seriously, third classes?

Donomni 06-06-2010 12:39 AM

I kid, I kid. But it'll still be a really long time.

From what I've heard in chat:

Not until Gravity actually balances them properly and it's on iRO.

After that, JP players compile the data or whatevers, and that data is tweaked for the US server technology ArcRO uses.

This is then shamelessly taken and tweaked for ArcRO.

So, yeah, when that one game comes out. Duke Nukem something or other.

Not there yet. It's on the wiki that it hasn't been balanced for the server.

And judging from people who have played them, Monks are EVIL OP. I still want to use Banding one day. ;_;

How so? 'Cause my memory of playing a Monk was that I was the weakest person on the server.

He means Sura, the 3rd class job for Monks.

And he's right, they are pretty ridiculous.

Donomni is right on this one - when it's on Gravity, then adapted, then RE-adapted. The big task is trying to balance 3rd classes with pre-renewal (renewal is basically the World of Warcraft-ing of RO, changing all mechanics and balance) classes, and then implementation. All the sprites and graphics work already, all the documentation and icons are in the game, but the skills are not coded thus the 3rd classes are useless at this time.

Donomni 06-09-2010 03:20 PM

The question is, then...

Where are our question marks over the NPCs?!

Loyal 06-09-2010 03:39 PM

Is there someplace that gives details on the Renewal changes in layman's terms? Exact formulae is nice and all, but sometimes, like when I can't apply those formulae to anything in practice, I like it to be simplified.
