Well they didn`t really ran out of colors... they just used all the good ones. Then there was all the gemstones and that soul silver stuff... and now we are going into abstract stuff like X and Y... mind you that the 2 new legendaries, one is a big Furry X Wing and the other is a huge Y deer thing apaprently

People are speculating that the stag and bird are references to some of the creatures on the tree Yggdrasil in Norse mythology.

If that's true, I'm expecting Z to have a Dragon legendary based off of Nidhogg, and that this Gen's Cute Legendary will be a squirrel, based off of Ratatosk.

Yeah, there's probably gonna be a Z version.

X, Y, and Z are all 3D axis, dontcha know?

Considering they're the first mainline Gen of Pokemon on the 3DS... waaaay too coincidental.

Also, I honestly thought the X legendary was a Kirin, not a stag. I blame Studio Ghibli.

So we might actually be looking into a Norse theme here? That`s kinda nice... we will know for sure if they come up with a multi-legged horse.

If I get Pokemon X, Pokemon Y, and Pokemon Z, can I combine them into Pokemon XYZ Dragon Cannon?

Ah man, I stayed up all night waiting for this announcement with a friend once she told me about it. Actually kinda stoked for this, and I don't usually get stoked for Pokemon these days.

Would Black 2 or White 2 be worth picking up? I had my heart set on Fire Emblem Awakening (it's coming out soon), but Pokemon is, well, Pokemon.

I'm REALLY hoping this isn't why they're named this. Such a name would make me fearful of this Pokemon game being more sexist than the average Pokemon game, let alone the cis-centric way of thinking that chromosomes equal gender.
