Time to hit your local Goodwill/ Salvation Army /Insert 2nd Hand Store Of Choice Here for costumes. As grim reapers aren't incredibly rare Halloween costumes, I'm willing to bet there'll be several worthy prop scythes that will show up there between now and Oct 31st. Thrift stores are awesome for costuming.

I'll have to check them out. Honestly I didn't think I'd find amazing prop scythe there.

Halloween is one of the best times to be hanging out with friends, 'cause costumes are always great for additional hilarity or ridiculousness.

If you're in a huge college town like I am currently, you can also pass the time laughing at how every female undergrad tries to out-whore the others.

But definitely dress up and go hang out with your friends and have some fun! I don't know why, but Halloween parties have never failed for me, so I guess I am just trying to hype you up :P.

Also this year I think a group of us are going to try to pull off a full Dr. Horrible cast.

This is assuming I can't get them to all dress up. Right now budget was the one thing that always seemed to stop us.

I might need a two dollar bottle of nail polish to make my "costume."

Work to your strengths! Be creative!

I figured out that I can just jam my fingers into the dirt for the low, low price of free.

Also, I went to one of them there amusement park Halloween things this weekend. I wasn't wearing a costume, but people treated me like any of the park's spooky folks when I let my hair down. Fun times.

You and me both!

I've been trying to think of something nerdy or video-gamey that A) wouldn't cost a fortune to buy/make and B) something that people would recognize.

Jesus. Always Jesus. You don't even have to dress up, just wear your hair down and bless people. Shades might help if you want to be cool Jesus.

Attach it to your head and you are now a Sim. Edit: Feel free to simulate injuries like burning, as that is the fate of all Sims.

I might stick with the good, cheap, warm, and complmented invisible man. For some reason EVERYONE loves my invisible man.

mauve 10-20-2011 04:27 PM

Invisible Man is seriously the best costume. With the bandages, trenchcoat, and sunglasses? I was the Invisible Man once back in high school. It's the best if you just walk around and don't talk. It freaks people out because they don't know who you are. Only problem is that now people just think you're wearing a really sucky Watchmen costume and that makes me sad.
