Well I'm sure zerglings are agile enough to dodge tank treads, but it would be pretty neat to see zerglings go pop as your siege tanks keep trucking forward.

Bah, there goes the fun right out of online... back to SC1 I go I guess.

It's an option that can be toggled, where alliances are fixed or not. Basically it's there to prevent people from doing what you had in mind :P.

Also, might as well start adding you folk to my friend list so that we might play some time. My character name is HyperionMBD (after the Greek titan, not Raynor's battlecruiser) and my character code is 792.

Pfft.... Blizzard has no right to take away my right to be a complete fucktard. I paid for their vidjamagame and I have every right to be as much or as little of a dick as I so please, so long as I abide by their EUL, which so far as *I* could tell said nothing about being a total dink.

Warcraft 3, with its items and heroes, makes for more entertaining backstabbity jackassery.

Ah, I remember those joys, moving a force in to "assist" in the protection of your teammates then destroy their base after the battle.

Yeah, but it is like the tank driver is like, "Oh let me stop and try to drive around these little dudes who are trying to claw their way into my heavily armored vehicle and eat me."

Azisien 08-01-2010 11:31 PM

He probably is like that. You ever try to pick a 'ling femur out of tank treads? Fucking nightmare man, I'd drive around too.

Loyal 08-01-2010 11:56 PM

Well, a speeding truck hit a Zergling in the first game and, while it was dead, the body was still intact. You could probably crush a zergling, maybe two, with a siege tank if you tried, but it'd probably take a fair bit of effort and leave you quite vulnerable in the process.

Weren't you supposed to be reviewing it for the Dojo? Not getting it running for a while sounds like it might put a crimp in that.

Azisien 08-02-2010 01:15 AM

Huge crimp, no doubt.
