My next masterpiece? "A time-traveler for love."

There is this odd degree of wonder how long I'm supposed to wait until I respond. A little bit confusing.

Also the title led me to think up a great deal too many electronic component puns related to sex.

Also didn't that place get blown up in the terrible tragedy of the misaligned satellite?

Arhra IX knows it's all about her.

Sometimes you just need a good rant, even if it's the endboss you're whining about your troubles to.

And Pyros, you ended up being surprisingly close. I had all of the V portion already written except the middle of the conversation.

I must admit Arhra, I really did enjoy that last post of your's. Particularly this line, actually. The whole scene set it up quite well - it was very good. Second half of the post was good too, actually, for different (and less moderately disturbing) reasons. Was pretty funny to see IX yell at the End Boss.

"Except possibly me." she added after a moment of contemplation.

She turned and stared right into the red inferno that had started the conversation. "I've got enough on my plate so you'd better not be up to no good." she growled. "I will end you."

Did I mention the vague sense of the dread I got from this little group of lines? 'cause the implications here are more worrisome than the overtly disturbing ones in the first half of your post. But maybe I'm just saying that because I might have some information about what IX's solution is. Dunno, we'll have to see.

The other IX probably won't be too amused though.

So when you're charging up the PMS cannon, does everyone on board get headaches and become cranky, and crave pizza?

Astral Harmony 12-03-2010 11:04 PM

They might after it fires. The PMS cannon packs one hell of a recoil whallop, and while the Aesir does have a recoil diminishing booster attached that will reduce the recoil, it'll still rock their worlds a little.

Still, it's also possible that Fury Shyria and Fury Mauve (who's high on Cranberry Sierra Mist) will destroy that ship before the cannon is ready to cu-ergh, fire. Fire is what I said.

I feel compelled to remind you that the Mother ship is the size of two cities.

Cities are very big.

It will take some time for a Dragon/Mage to smash it all.

Arhra 12-03-2010 11:31 PM

Well, it's probably not as bad as the NATAL Cannon. That's one hell of a charge time!

Also I have just been shot.

This will end badly for everyone involved I am sure, huzzah!

Astral Harmony 12-03-2010 11:34 PM

Saying that Shyria and Mauve cannot destroy a ship that large in several minutes sounds like a grievous insult to the both of them...

As well as a challenge. Show 'im, girls!
