Aw damn it. Now that I've seen that super kickass weapon you can get by beating Dead Space 2 in Hardcore Mode, I want it.

Well, couldn't hurt to see if I can actually win that shit. I'll do a text heavy post hopefully every day until we finally get to the new battle system, which will be more of an "Irene teaches combat" thing instead of you fighting that weirdo from Mission 2.

By the way, I've been wondering what the hell we're going to do about Gem's upgrades.

In particular, I'm not going to keep track of that Taction bullshit.

Well, I figured we'd just ignore all that and just treat him as basically a mandatory NPC who is capable of having an enforcer and give him the non-taction stuff. If Gem comes back, we'll just pretend he was just waiting for a suitable moment to put it into action or something.

EDIT: I'm trying to recall all the times that Gaea's Wind / Second Wind was activated. Because according to my memory (which may or may not be completely accurate) Shannon was present during each of those events, and I'm starting to wonder how long Shannon had been influenced by Gaea. (Kinda appropriate since Gaea/Gaia in typical mythology is a harbringer of earth/plant life energy and Shannon is our grass trainer)

EDIT: Kinda suprised that Darcelle is beside Renny instead of Mollesk (Renny has his pokemons summoned to keep an eye out and to get fresh air.) Probably just overlooked that.

Anyhow, I'll write a post later in the afternoon.

I think by that point Renny might be in an ambulance, or flying home. Seeing as I don't think there's anything for him to do.

Renny is hurt, but not THAT badly, especially since he has healing items left over and can use Heal Pulse. The pain that remains should mostly be lingering residue (since healing items aren't exactly miracle patches) and mental trauma. So he probably doesn't need an ambulance. He's sufficently finished with fighting for the day though.

He'd probably teleport home at some point after talking and resting a little (and letting his pokemons rest)

Let's not get crazy with the teleporting.

It's already got so many overpowered strategic implications, it's ridiculous.
