I was wondering if he would get tornado'ed up to a shadow realm. Alternatively, he could have skipped a few level, maybe gotten closer the castle with the princes in it.

He'd need a magical clarinet for something like that. I don't think a flute is the right sound for that kinda thing.

But a magical oboe would just be overkill.
