Aryll was born to a Ralts pair on Route 102. As with most Ralts born in the wild, Aryll could sense the emotions of both Pokemon and people. One day, she found herself wandering into nearby Petalburg City, where she happened upon a teenage boy followed by his younger sister. After observing them for some time, Aryll noticed that the younger sibling constantly pestered her older brother for attention. Discovering that she liked the idea of constantly pestering someone for attention, she went back to Route 102 and started bothering anyone and everyone who hadn't already run away.

One male Ralts, however, rather liked the constant attention. In fact, he soon began to start following her around constantly, to the point where she had to drop the clingy girl attitude to chew him out for being creepy. She started venturing further and further toward the edge of Route 102 to get away from him, and one day she was found by Ecks and promptly captured.

Aryll rather enjoys playing the younger sister to Ecks, especially when it creeps him or Kentucky out. She gets along rather well with the both of them, and anticipates being an important core member of Ecks' team.

I've played up to the other side of Petalburg Woods. Holy crap, it took so long just to get there... and I wanted to start on the write up. I had saved 217 pictures, and I had to split the last update into pieces because I had over 50000 characters... so I cut it shorter than I intended to. After I finish the write-up, I'll post it, and do the next character profile before I actually get up to Rustboro. This way, once I GET to Rustboro, we'll have more than enough room for the Gym Battle.

I'm still debating on whether or not I want to change the sprites I'm using. Cartoonist has offered to do some animated GIFs for me to replace the ones I've been using. And if I do that, the change will be retroactive. I will go back and edit the urls in the image tags.

On that note, I'm really sorry that I'm not as uber-awesome at manipulating sprites and animating as Cartoonist is. Considering how much time I waste recoloring sprites (and occasionally editing them entirely) you'd think I'd invest more time into learning how to do these awesome things.

ANYWHO, if I waste any more time typing this into Notepad, I'm not gonna have much time to work on the ACTUAL update.

There're Wingulls near Oldale. Surf, Dive, Waterfall, and Fly.

Actually, just Surf and Fly. It doesn't learn the other two.

But Gyarados/Wailmer learn all three water HMs! I still want to see a Wailmer in this LP, though I know he isn't for a LONG while T.T

I may decide to pick up a Wailmer so I can go nab the Regis. Cuz, I'll need a Wailord and Relicanth for that...

Gyarados also can learn fly I think.

I'd like to apologize for not having an update out last week. Only thing that really needs to be done at this point is replacing the placeholders I use for the Pokemon when I write the dialogue for the image tags so the sprites appear...

...but I still haven't decided if I want to continue using mine, or let Cartoonist do something he mentioned in a PM last week. A big factor of my indecision is lack of word from Cartoonist, whom I have not HEARD FROM since last week. I think what I'm going to do is, providing I get some time to do it between now and tomorrow night, I'm going to go ahead, put in the image tags for MY sprites, post the update, and then when Cartoonist comes out of his coffin or wherever he hides from the sunlight and torch-bearing villagers, we'll iron out whether or not he still wants to do sprites for me.

Sounds like a plan.
