Okay.

Goddammit, fuck you.

Now I have to know.

Menarker 04-25-2011 03:38 PM

I'm curious for sure too.

But we're not likely to find out any time soon until the plot moves on.

Then WHY is he a wanted criminal in the first place? Unless he had an accident that looked like a crime, was framed, or is being chased for "harmless crimes" like copying music CDs, I could hardly imagine why someone who has those traits would act like a criminal and thus be targeted by the police (unless said police was corrupt to begin with).

Thanks for the Happy Birthdays guys!

And Drac.

You too.

DanteFalcon 04-25-2011 05:54 PM

I'd say happy birthday but that would give the impression that I had more emotions than mild disdain for the human race.

Happy 1 year closer to dying.

Edit: Also posted.

I don't have anything to post, really.

...Oh, except one thing.

Matthias is fuckin' pimp.

EDIT: Yet another post that tries to blend interesting storytelling with my bizarre brand of humor.

Menarker 04-26-2011 10:19 AM

Interesting.

However, I do have a question regarding it.

Moera said this in the past the first time Renny and Charlotte encountered her

Quote:

Moera smiled. "There's no need to discuss Beloved Faynoc's holy mission to corpses. When he is finished, even an girl like me can finally find a peaceful world to live in, free from sexually abusive parents and uncaring neighbors. Beloved Faynoc rescued me from that hell, brought those who have wronged me to justice, and gave me a new life. And for this, I shall kill all of Beloved Faynoc's enemies."
And now we're told
Quote:

"Believe it or not, Faynoc is a married man. I dunno how a woman can be batshit enough to wed that weirdo, but apparently someone exists because a wedding happened, and eventually a child resulted between the dysfunctional pair. You know who that is, right?"
So, what is the truth? I admit I was under the impression that Moera was basically his most loyal convert after he killed off her sexually abusive parents. And yet, he's one of her parents in the first place and "rescued her".
Unless she was given away for adoption at some point (you honestly believe Faynoc could put off his work to raise a child) and that's where it all started or something. But then, one wonders why Faynoc killed her adoptive parents in the first place, unless they were acting against his scientific interests. It's not like he would have cared where she was or what anyone was doing to her.

Of course, I could just be overthinking it and it's merely just PLOTHOLE or Moera talking shit in the middle of combat (although it seems like a weird thing to lie about since she seemed so very proud of the fact).

DanteFalcon 04-26-2011 10:31 AM

Or you know.

She could be insane. Just saying.

Menarker 04-26-2011 11:07 AM

Well, yeah, but she isn't behaving Loony Toons batshit insane. She can still lead a coherent conversation and have an agenda which she attempts to carry out.

So to me, it's less a question about her sanity and more about clarifying the context of what happened back then. If Faynoc really did save her from abusive parents, then at least there is a understandable if misguided motivation for her wanting to serve him. Faynoc being her father would still be a feasible motivation if she sought his approval, but the nature of the relationship would be quite different from if she viewed him as her personal savior. Additionally, the reason why this distinction is important is because her expressed anger at her sexually abusive parents makes it exclusively seperate from the idea that Faynoc could be her father, except under some very specific circumstances or at least a very flexible defination of "parents".

That said, with all sorts of medical experimentations going on, her mind being warped is a distinct possibility, but that's more of a compounding factor on an existing theory than a seperate explaination.

Maybe I should actually have Renny say something along that line though. :3

Insanity doesn't have to look insane. Though, I dunno if AB could pull it off.

Regardless, I'm pretty sure it's just a plothole. It's now his fault you remember everything single little thing anyone ever said.

And since it is most likely just a plothole, I dunno, I think what you should've done rather than bring it up in-RP would be to ask AB about it here first.

I said that, although in different words. Basically her TYPE of insanity is different.

Anyhow, I'm totally willing to remove the offending portion of my post if AB does say it's a plothole and such.
