Half-Life 3. That is all.

Despite Valve saying Episode 3 wouldn't be released in 2010, some info on it (like that it's coming out January 1, 2011, for instance) would be greatly appreciated.

Unfortunately we'll probably just get more concept art, or nothing.

I'm most excited about the Zelda game, as long as there is actual information about what it is about.

I've heard they're focusing on story first and foremost this time around, and that it'll use Motion+, so I'm cautiously optimistic.

But that's not really very 3D, it's just a different kind of 2D... mostly. But I guess that's not relevant to the point.

Wait, regarding story, I believe I read the opposite. They thought up the game mechanics and then built the story to suit it. All things considered, that sounds like a good approach here, IMO...

Well, on Sonic 4, Sega recently stated that the iPod versions will be getting exclusive levels so perhaps the minecart version will be taken out of the 360/PS3 version. Sega did delay the game to improve it based on fan response, and from looking at boards the minecart level is a major point of contention. Bonus gif:

What I read was that was their normal way of doing things, but that they're focusing on story first this time around.

I would play "The Legend of Zelda: Farewell Ruins of the Moon." I would play it hard.

Then again, barring something like Sonic 4's minecart level, I'd play any Zelda game, so...

I'm just hoping they fix the pacing this time around. Twilight Princess had terrible pacing... Oh, and fix those goddamn ugly character designs from Twilight Princess seriously fuck that shit.

EVILNess 05-30-2010 10:23 AM

I still want a full on Steampunk or Cyberpunk Zelda game. I'm kinda tired of the high fantasy ting.

Oh yeah TP had some fugly ass designs. The Oocoo haunt my nightmares. I'm hoping for a few things with the new Zelda

- Midna
- More Spinner
- More chain mace, goddamn those were the most awesome and underused Zelda items.
- A story and feel half as good as Majora's Mask.
- No sumo wrestling old fat men
- No Goron nipples.
- NO OOCOO

I can FEEL the frustration from here.

Ladies and gentlemen, it is time to go back in time. And kill the Nineteen Nineties. This may cause some paradoxes and the younger members of our forum may cease to have ever existed in the first place, but mine cart levels must be stopped, as they should have been stopped long ago. I'm sure those born after 1989 will understand and go into non-existence happily knowing their annihilation brought abouta better reality for us all.

Professor Smarmiarty 05-30-2010 10:55 AM

The Oocoo were awesome. They should focus game on them
