Hey... not all game trailers can be like Castlevania: Lord of The Shadows.

And really... any Nintendo Franchise that tries to expand on characterization will trip before walking.

This is all very true. Metroid had a good/decent plot with no characterization (though I seem to be the only one who shares that opinion sometimes).
