Has the prosecution finished questioning their witness or are you just trying to make me die of boredom?

I cannot speak for my colleagues, but I have no further questions for the witness.

Fine. Defense. Cross-examine. Go. Now.

Y'know, shaded black like that it looks a LOT like you're wearing Mia Fey's jacket...

Yes, sir, Mister Honorable Judge Godot, sir.

Going back to an earlier statement of yours, NonCon, I'd like something clarified:

Whether he stole it during a mad case of the munchies, or due to a drunken vendetta, I haven't a clue.

http://i887.photobucket.com/albums/a...t/1a3ef3d2.gif
I'm going to ignore the bit about the drunken vendetta for a moment due to conflicting claims between yourself and Mr. Man about his alcohol tolerance. Could you clarify what you meant by a "Mad case of the munchies"? Surely there are better options for satisfying hunger than to break into a compound filled with evil, mind-controlled bees.

http://i887.photobucket.com/albums/a...t/b750c033.gif
Therefore, I suppose I'd like to know just why you think the compound's honey would appeal to someone as a first resort for stomach satiation.

Not that this hasn't stopped some people from trying it anyways. The only side-effect they reported was deliciousness.

http://i887.photobucket.com/albums/a...t/b750c033.gif
I take this to mean that people have tried the honey before this whole incident, perhaps without permission? Have you had any prior discipline issues with workers, or even visitors to the compound?

What? The prosecution is done? Ok then. Mr. Con, have you ever met Ms. Cobra before the night of the incident?

http://i52.tinypic.com/2ng78fp.gif

Now more to the point, Mr. Con, could you tell us the location of bee control room and the protective equipment within the facility? Does every employee have their own Personal Protective Equipment?

Honestly, I have no idea. Perhaps he'd somehow gotten his hands on some beforehand, and found the taste especially to his liking. Maybe he had just heard about it, and by the time he'd sobered up enough to realize it was a terrible idea, he had already passed the point of no return.

The prosecution contends that Ryanderman broke into the Bee Cannon construction compound to steal delicious weaponized honey, accidentally causing a power surge that overloaded the cannon's central control mechanism and burned it out, resulting in the bees within going wild and swarming the town, as well as rendering the machine damaged beyond repair.

http://i33.tinypic.com/1zch46d.gif

He couldn't have known it was delicious if people hadn't tried it and word had spread, correct? Basically, yeah, we've caught people trying it, but we really don't have any reason to think it would have ill effects, and nobody has shown any negative side-effects, so we aren't going to get on anyone's case too hard about it.

I'd seen her around the forums, but I wouldn't say I knew her very well.

You've got a central lobby through the front door. There are two doors in this room. The door to the left connects to the computer room. We run simulations, and some of the small scale experiments in here. The door to the right is the room where we keep the bees and the bee cannon. There's a smaller room connecting the lobby to this room, and that's where we keep the protective gear. We have extras lying around in case one rips or we lose it.

It very well could have. You'll notice he dropped several jars when he tripped over that cord. I believe Gumshoe mentioned he had to go grab other jars. Even on the off-chance that tripping over the cord itself didn't cause it, which is the most likely scenario, whatever he did when the security cameras were off could have.

SO STOP SCREWING AROUND WITH ME!!!

http://i51.photobucket.com/albums/f3..._fist_talk.gif

No more of this 'could have possibly might have done' bullshit.

http://i51.photobucket.com/albums/f3..._visionary.gif

You will give me definitive answers.

http://i51.photobucket.com/albums/f3...i_accuse-1.gif

Or are you trying to hide something?

Loyal 09-14-2010 11:46 AM

God I hate that paper-hitting .gif

http://i887.photobucket.com/albums/a...t/b750c033.gif
I'm inclined to agree with the prosecution, at least regarding the bit about definitive answers.

http://i887.photobucket.com/albums/a...t/8823b8f1.gif
We will need more decisive testimony than "He could have heard about how delicious it was," or "He might have gotten his hands on some in the past." If you don't actually know, it would probably serve the court best for you to not add your personal theories.

http://i887.photobucket.com/albums/a...t/1a3ef3d2.gif
I asked why you believed Mr. Man was suffering from a "case of the munchies", with the impression that you had a specific reason for believing so. Clearly I was mistaken.

http://i887.photobucket.com/albums/a...t/8823b8f1.gif
So let's try another, more decisive question:

http://i887.photobucket.com/albums/a...t/ef6d6d34.gif
Tell me, NonCon, what were you doing between the time when you left the Local Drinking Establishment and the morning after the crime?

Rejected Again 09-16-2010 01:27 PM

http://i51.tinypic.com/11v33te.gif
Mr. Con, please answer my question about each person having their own equipment. While I agree that it is a good practice to have extras, I would like to know if everyone is assigned their own.

http://s7.tinypic.com/2ng78fp_th.jpg

I would also like to know if there was any strange codes placed into the Mindhive, and if there are any cameras in the main control room.

POS Industries 09-19-2010 10:06 PM

http://i119.photobucket.com/albums/o...dot-hehmug.gif
Mr. NonCon, are you planning on answering the questions anytime soon?
