Persona 3 Portable Gets US Release Date

This is why I own a PSP. Like, this pretty much makes 2010 the best year ever. I would be willing to play through it again just for new Social Links but now we get a female protagonist and hours of added content. You must all buy it or I will hunt you down and insult your mothers.

As much as I really love the game, because it's just SO AWESOME, I can't get myself to buying a PSP for it. That would be... like... the only reason to have one. For a game I already own. And I don't have enough money to spare. And FUCK why do idiots still make games for the PSP anyway when they could release it for the PS2 a third time.

I want this >:(

I don't even want to know if this gets released in Europe. I. Don't. Want. To. Know.

Part of me really, really wants this. I watched the Persona 4 Endurance Run on Giant Bomb and looked the look and style of it. It really appealed to me.

However, I don't know if I want to import it and, as such, support Atlus. I mean, if at Atlus don't want to sell the game to me in the UK, then why should I buy their game and thus, support them in only selling their games in America? I like their games, but I just find it stupid that they don't sell to Europe.

European and lacking a PSP, slap a re-release on the PS3 and I'd get it, though

I've been waiting for this to get released here. I've never played persona before but I'll defiantly have to pick this one up.

I am vaguely tempted to try and convince Mirai to review it though.
 

First off, the PSP isn't region locked. So you can import it quite easily. Hell, I imported Breath of Fire 3 from Europe.

Second, I can name other reasons to buy a PSP: Persona 1, Disgaea Afternoon of Darkness, Disgaea 2 Dark Hero Days, FFT: War of the Lions, Dissidia, Star Ocean 1 and 2, Lunar: Silver Star, Valkyria Chronicles 2, Valkyrie Profile Lenneth, Monster Hunter, Breath of Fire III, Prinny Can I really be the Hero?, the ability to take lots of good PS1 games on te go with you like FF7, Wild Arms, Resident Evil, Spyo the Dragon, Suikoden. The PSP Minis are neat too.

You do realize how small of a company Atlus is right?

Also, if Persona was any indication then this game will also be on sale in the PSN. You might just need to switch over to the American PSN, which you SHOULD have an account for anyway cause the three stores sometimes have different deals.

Nah man, was just funnin'. Any game where I say "Tempted to make Mirai review it" means I'm in no way going to make Mirai review it.
