Capcom's Bet
So, with Tatsunoko Vs Capcom coming out this week, Capcom has been pretty vocal about it's interest in this game being a success on the US.
The Brought a game that was likely to never come out of Japan, Updated it heavily (and nicely) and went public with some serious comments of how they were interested on investing more on the VS series if TvsC worked out. They also already made pretty clear that 2.5d (the System used on TvsC and SF4 ) was the way to go with their next fighting games. I, for one, loved the feel of Capcom's 2.5d Games like Rival Schools, Project Justice and Tatsunoko Vs Capcom and fully endorse they taking this route (also, REMAKE RIVAL SCHOOLS OR MAKE ANOTHER ONE ALREADY DAMN IT!) TvsC is taking some heavy praising from the Critics and it just might seem to be the Wii's first big hit of 2010, so, if it works, what you guys think Capcom should go for then? |
Capcom vs My Wallet

1. Waluigi has to be a playable character. 2. Cave of the Past from Earthbound has to be a stage. EDIT: And fuck we should get Travis Touchdown in here some way some how. |
Capcom VS Konami
Capcom VS Sega Heck Capcom VS Namco would be pretty cool. or Capcom VS Shonen Jump, yes I would enjoy that. :) |
I could've sworn they already did the last one...

I wouldn't mind a Capcom versus Konami - though I'd most likely be playing on the Konami side with Pyramid Head or Solid Snake.

EDIT: Woops never mind. It was a fan game/project/wish. Capcom VS CLAMP sounds kinda fun to if they include some of the projects they worked with like Code Geass and etc. |

No doubt Jump Vs Capcom would sell a LOT. Jump Ultimate is already on the DS, so Nintendo knows they can work with that franchise. But the licensing would be a REAL nightmare.
I would also Endorse a Wii version of Dissidia with Final Fantasy Vs Street Fighter, but Nintendo would be WAY more likely to use Crystal Chronicles characters for that.... In the heart of it all i just want a new Rival Schools game. Darkstalkers Vs Rival Schools ? |

I kid. Actually, the models are probably low-poly enough that the Wii could handle it, but the question is why you'd want to waggle your way through something that you could just as easily push buttons for. Actually, scratch that, it might actually be pretty fun in this case. The REAL question is why you'd want to remove portability from a portable game. Granted, I kinda wish you could play PSP games on the PS3 the same as you can call out to a PS3 and play PS1 games that happen to be in it, and Dissidia is the first thing that comes to mind with that, but you still have the option in that case. |
