So there's this new digimon MMO

That bandai made/approved. The beta test for it opens march 17th.

My system is incompatible. So~ Anyone else interested in giving it a chance come march 17th?

On a side note I'm kinda disappointed that season 3 is being used to market it and not the incredibly awesome Season 5 (Savers in JP. Data Squad in the US/Canada).

If it's Season 1&2 Digimon style then I'd think about giving it a shot. After the original kids grew up I pretty much lost interest.

I'll give a try, as I give any free MMO a try, but I probably wont stick with it since it's just another Korean free MMO with cash shop. I don't like being forced to do microtransactions to compete(it's cool if its all cosmetic or enhanced xp or whatever, but all the best items are usually for cash).

From the gameplay vids it's almost like a online Digimon World type game despite the the season 3 op scene. It even seems that you can use pretty much any digimon you want from the looks of it (within what ever gameplay restriction/requirements that may be set up such as LVing, breeding, etc.).

Meh, same as Tev. The card game/real life aspect got retarded.

Two options. Grow boobs, or get a bunch of minions to get the stuff for you. ;)

I think that's cause they saved/used it for a much more awesome game.

Now that's what I'm fucking talking about!

Christ, it took them long enough. I'd been aware of this game being open in Korea for years now, and though I'd heard there might be an American version never saw any proof of it. Considering I've never really gotten much into MMOs and I am, at this exact moment, out of my recurring Digimon obsession, I'll wait a bit before getting super thrilled.

I played a Korean Digimon MMO a long whiles back that seemed to revolve around the Tamer series' mons. If this is the English release, then all I can say is:

YEEEEEEAH!

Either way, downloading the client now so I can install it, get any patches, and play on the day OB starts.

Non-violent game

Digimon Battle is not violent at all. It does not show any gory scenes like slashing enemies into pieces or blood splashing all over. That is important social issue these days. Unlike those violent games, users will experience pure adventures in the digital world and enjoy taming their own Digimons.
Oh lord. This is hilarious. *Begins digging through site for more tidbits*

Could be worse, they could have based it on season 4.

*Shudders*
