My school paper printed some stupid April Fools Day stuff (yesterday, oddly). A fake article about the school banning Facebook and the like from their networks, and talks of a protest and a quote from the protest organizer to the effect of "Bring a bat in case it gets ugly."

It was just stupid. *shrug* Bugged me for some reason. Not clever and slightly reckless. And when I thought it was a real article I was OKAY with them banning it. All the computer labs are full because of people dicking around on Facebook.

Bah.

I am eagerly awaiting articles on the LHC creating a black hole and spelling doom for the Earth.

You guys know they cancelled April Fools this year, right?

Yeah, they did a short story on it on CNN.

Damn.

I will bring almond flavored cookies to class and casually mention that cyanide smells like bitter almonds, then laugh and accuse them of being silly when they drop the cookies and back away.

the prank will be that there really is cyanide in the cookies.
