The sick thread of ugh I forgot how much I hate this.

I'm coming down with/in the throes of a bad headcold, and feel like crap. Any advice?

Edit: There needs to be sad post icon that isn't warbot.

Drink plenty of water, all of the time. At least a full glass every hour should keep you hydrated and your system relatively purged.

Then move on to whatever medicine you think works. But remember that water is important.

Me mums pancea is a dropper full of Oil Of Oregano (available even at Pharmasave) in a glass of water. Chug.

You'll smell pizza through the back of your eyeballs, but apparently it's better than Halls.

Use pretty much anything that you find helps symptoms for you personally. I find Buckleys or NeoCitran both work really well.

Hey, at least I'm using post icons/suggesting ways to further people's ease of using them!

I'm feeling a bit better this morning, drinking a lot of fluids. Hopefully I can kick the crap out of this cold by tomorrow, because I don't want to have to be getting up early in the morning with this.

Sleeeeeeep. Sleeeeeeeeeep. Seriously, sleep makes everything better.

Hot tea, especially peppermint or ginger tea, works wonders for me. Mint and ginger are also excellent remedies for calming an upset stomach.
