Final Fantasy - 5d6cussion

We've needed a new thread for a while now.

Things to note: Armor creation or purchasing unique armor will have to be dealt with on an individual basis. The book doesn't really go well into that, after all, and I don't want to decide on something that might bite me in the ass later.

Meanwhile, Notorious has already affected the taller guard's impression of Caspin. Just not in a good way.

Also, trying to intentionally do the improbable could certainly work out in your favor, though failing it could also prove disastrous. At the same time, for certain actions there just aren't enough dice in the world.

POS Industries 12-28-2009 10:30 PM

I got yer Mr. Prick right here!

Overcast 12-28-2009 10:47 PM

Caspin is a quitter! Nah but this seemed a good a time as any to pull him out of the scenario. I'll be around till about January 2nd, but if there are any loose ends still sticking out after that just imagine him ignoring folks and walking off into possible death.

Bard The 5th LW 12-28-2009 10:57 PM

So that leaves Group 1 at three member (I don't recall Naquel joining)?

This won't end well.

Damn. I was hoping you'd ad-lib prices for +x to skills so I could jack my synthesis(machines) up that way. XD

phil_ 12-28-2009 11:35 PM

Hey, guys, is it cool if I just write something like "Bello did such-and-such, details details details, he got his new equipment and made some checks concerning Prassad" and cover all Bello's time pre-meeting at the stables? I assume no one else is going to be hanging out with him in Ilium and I'd just as well cover his independent activities in one post. Just checking that I'm not stepping on any toes in doing so.

Also, I just watched Menarker's videos. Bello is a story-teller, not a mutant freak-baby.

I have my fingers crossed.

This story's actually probable! And I have a few contingencies for obvious questions like, oh, how clean we are.

So, if everything does work out, I should be able to get Ark into the city as well. I'm just a little concerned that one of them has Straight-Arrow or whatever trait lets them sense falsehood.

That would suck.

Arhra 12-29-2009 09:56 AM

Seriously, you all saw that picture, right? Dude's pom-pom is HUGE.

phil_ 12-29-2009 02:41 PM

Since I thought of this crap during my pointless errand today, I thought I'd share a little about Bello's proposed tales.

"The Tragedy of Poltrick, Prince of Prontera:" A tale of murder, lies, and existential angst. It has ghosts and swordfights, so it's pretty popular everywhere. There's even a Galkan translation.

"Exdeath Went Down to Gyshal:" A song that was popular a few years ago. A young chocobo-herder has to defeat Exdeath in a chocobo whistle contest or he'll erase all existence. Most people know the chorus. A favorite for drunken reveling.

"Jakkoko and the Goblins:" An original work by Bello. A young Tarut and his sister are assailed by goblins, and he rescues her by disguising himself as a goblin. Bello has been working on this for a while, and people seem to enjoy stories about goblins being stupid and gullible. He recently changed the damsel in distress to the hero's sister instead of his friend to make his motivation more simple.

Driving time for me is "Let's flesh out Bello" time, and I do a lot of driving.

Exdeath went down to Gyshal, he was lookin' to erase it all
He was in a bind 'cos he was way behind: he was willin' to play ball
When he came across this young man blowin' on a whistle and playin' it hot
Exdeath jumped upon a hickory stump and said: "Boy let me tell you what:
"I bet you didn't know, I'm a chocobo whistler too.
"And if you'd care to take a dare, I'll make a bet with you.
"Now you play a pretty good whistle, boy, but give the tree his due:
"I bet a whistle of gold against your soul, 'cos I think I'm better than you."
The boy said: "My name's Butz and it might be a sin,
"But I'll take your bet, you're gonna regret, 'cos I'm the best that's ever been."

phil_ 12-29-2009 09:51 PM

_mike wants the whole thing, Arhra, but I'm laughing at what you have.

Krylo 12-29-2009 09:58 PM

Butz you wetten up your lips and blow your whistle hard.
'Cos chaos broke loose in Gyshal and ExDeath deals the cards
And if you win you get this shiny whistle made of gold.
But if you lose, ExDeath gets your soul.

*Whistle solo*

Well ExDeath grabbed up his whistle and said: "I'll start this show."
And fire flew from his branches as he got ready to blow.
And he pushed a whistle through the air and it made an evil hiss.
Then a band of demons joined in and it sounded something like this.

*Awesome rock interlude*

When ExDeath finished, Butz said: "Well you're pretty good ol' son.
"But if you'll sit down in that chair, right there, and let me show you how its done."

The Argent Lord 12-29-2009 10:05 PM

I so want to finish that, but I don't know enough FF5 to throw references into the chorus.

Menarker 12-29-2009 10:12 PM

You guys should totally roll entertainers and become a hot singer/band group when/if you TPK. :3

The Argent Lord 12-29-2009 10:18 PM

Fire on the Master Tree, run boys, run.
Exdeath's in the Void, gonna eat the sun.
Chocobo in the bread pin, pickin' out dough.
"Granny, does your octopus bite?"
"No, child, no."

Exdeath bowed his head because he knew that he'd been beat. He laid that golden whistle on the ground at Butz's feet.
Butz said: "Exdeath, just come on back if you ever want to try again. I told you once, you son of a birch, I'm the best that's ever been."

Fire on the Master Tree, run boys, run.
Exdeath's in the Void, gonna eat the sun.

I'm so happy right now. I'll see if I can get some karaoke up.

Truce 01-01-2010 02:12 AM

Updated Group 2's post because I'm an idiot who missed something.

As for Jal, the stairs to the upper floors are just past the main exhibit.

Also, damn you guys for coming up with a song. I'm not sure whether I'll reward you or punish you if it gets stuck in my head.

phil_ 01-01-2010 02:15 AM

Still working on that karaoke. Gotta make it good. Probably won't be up for a while. I'll hunt POS down if he gets it first, though.

I'll let you handle it, though if you need someone to do the vocals, I'm definitely on a roll this week.

Teal Mage 01-01-2010 05:46 AM

Well.

I think I should apologise, I'm falling flat on my face here.

So, uh, esteemed party members? I'm sorry that we're probably about to be arrested for attempting to bomb the holy city with an Ultima Staff.

...the thought of which makes me smile way too much.

Menarker 01-01-2010 06:47 PM

Well, I'm just being neutral now, hoping that the negotiation goes well. So I'm paying attention, but don't expect me to post at this point.

Bard The 5th LW 01-01-2010 07:23 PM

Quote:

The fact that you have a Paladin in your party also gives off a stereotypical extremist look to your party. Although I admit, Zieg has done pretty good at not being lawful stupid, or a knight templar so far.

So far anyways.

As far as things go for Group 2, Ralts is probably going to resign himself to returning to the stables to see if Bello has any info on Prasad and the Galkas, or if Jal learned anything. If we're lucky, then we may track down prasad to Cornelia, and earn the town's trust by fighting off a group of crazy radicals attempting to blow up the town with an ultima staff.

Krylo 01-01-2010 07:37 PM

Not yet, I have other plans for you.

Well unless you don't wanna help Jal. But that would make Jal sad.

And maybe cost the group money and magical artifacts.

You don't want to cost the group money and magical artifacts, do you?

Also, we're looking in the same areas, basically and Ralts isn't hiding so I'm just assuming Jal would have seen/found him easily enough.

Bard The 5th LW 01-01-2010 10:35 PM

I actually have somewhat of a plan in mind for removing the guard. But it depends on whether or not Steal Heart works other ways than aiding you in combat or not.

If it doesn't, I could, in theory, use it to make him attack and fight the other guard, giving Jal more than good enough of cover.

Truce 01-01-2010 10:49 PM

Steal heart can be used to do out of combat stuff. But, you'll need to spend a destiny point on androgynous.

Bard The 5th LW 01-01-2010 10:55 PM

Hmm, I'll think it over. It would be rather humorus, and a pretty sure-fire way of handling it.

What do you guys think?

Krylo 01-01-2010 10:57 PM

Do it.

Just do it so well you get your point back.

I'm sure the guard would appreciate your 'dedication' to a 'job well done' as well.

Bard The 5th LW 01-01-2010 11:00 PM

Ok, I'll go for it. Just need to think of a proper way to write it out.

Perhaps I'll make him pay for Dinner, and then walk off and leave him wondering were he was and what happened to the money he previously had.

phil_ 01-02-2010 12:37 AM

In response to Bard's last post:

Go Team Beautiful!

Krylo 01-02-2010 12:56 AM

Hey, hurry up and drag the guard off to dinner or a hotel or something so I can raid the pantry, would ya?

Teal Mage 01-02-2010 01:00 AM

So, I have a couple ideas for a post, but, I'm thinking this is one of those times when I really need to give you quiet church mice the center stage.

In other words, Mernarker and Krogoth, time to say something.

phil_ 01-02-2010 01:17 AM

If Ralts doesn't end up at the same cafe as Jade and Bello... ok, well, that wouldn't be too bad. Might miss out on some chances for mischief, though.

Also, no one minds if Arhra and I amuse ourselves with a pointless, roll-less conversation, yeah?

The Argent Lord 01-02-2010 01:22 AM

I'm just incorporating my level-up skill gain into my post, because otherwise I can't do much of anything. And I'd love to get at the Magitek armor, but I don't think we're awesome enough to pull that off quite yet.

Menarker 01-02-2010 02:40 AM

Deleted post because the situation has gotten so dire and risky that we need to chat with each other on the next step lest the entire group splits up like Naqel and Caspin. (No offense to them). Still have the post on hand, but might need to chat with Krogoth and Teal.

krogothwolf 01-02-2010 10:52 AM

Soryy I havent been around, my network has been spotty lately :/

Menarker 01-02-2010 11:10 PM

Well, let's hope group 1 doesn't die out here. It's pretty darn early for that sort of thing.

phil_ 01-02-2010 11:46 PM

Bard, you don't have to worry about Bello blowing your cover. He understands. Sometimes, you just have to flirt to get what you want, even if it's with another dude. Heck, he's probably working out a plan to watch your back if the elf starts to catch on. And surely Jade wouldn't do something loud and stupid that trashes the whole plan and gets us all shot at. I mean, our Jade? Naaaah.

Bard The 5th LW 01-02-2010 11:50 PM

Its not so much me worrying, its Ralts worrying. He doesn't know Bello too well, and he knows Jade even less.

Although he probably figures that Bello wouldn't care about the stolen goods. But Jade is a mystery to him. She's also a Leeroy Jenkins who has ruined a plan before.

Krylo 01-03-2010 12:28 AM

Oh... I wouldn't worry about the plan.

Teal Mage 01-04-2010 02:18 AM

Perhaps my last post was slightly selfish, but this scene's actually impacted my character. So, I thought I should make that clear, since, you know, it might matter.

Keith's so bland, I'm going to try hard to develop him from here on. Originally I was contemplating killing him or retiring him, but this debacle has made him more interesting to play then before, so I'm going to stick with him.

Although he probably just shifted a point to Shadow.

Oh well.

Arhra 01-04-2010 08:48 AM

Post tomorrow!

BLAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!

Bard The 5th LW 01-05-2010 10:27 PM

You see Teal, you wouldn't be in this situation if you brainwash/convince the guards to go out with you. And I say that we keep Jade in the dark about Ralts' gender, that way, if he ever flirts with a girl, she gets very confused.

Teal Mage 01-05-2010 10:49 PM

But I'm too sexy to blur the gender line!

Although, I will call you a girl if we ever meet, and think of you as one the entire time.

This is what you get for being that effeminate.

Bard The 5th LW 01-05-2010 10:51 PM

It might be easier to believe he is a girl considering he left his hat in the museum, and it wouldn't be smart to return to the crime scene. I would ask Krylo or Argent to grab it, but I think its funnier this way

Menarker 01-09-2010 07:50 PM

Don't suppose any of you know what happened to Truce? This unexplained extended absence is more than a little worrisome.

Bard The 5th LW 01-09-2010 07:53 PM

I know. We're just kind of waiting now, everyone who can make a viable post has. I don't want to see this RP die.

Maybe his electricity got shut down or something. I hear snow has been getting heavy in some places.

Teal Mage 01-09-2010 09:20 PM

Generally speaking, when people disappear on the internet, its always less serious then we expect.

Don't worry about it, he's probably just busy right now. If you're enjoying the RP, waiting shouldn't kill you, right?

I mean, the game might still die, but if (some) of the players stay interested, that's about half the battle.

Truce 01-09-2010 11:13 PM

Part of it is that I'm busy; I've still got some things to do before I head back to college.

But it's more me having trouble thinking up the next post. Which is really embarrassing to admit, but more truthful than saying I don't have time for it.

Bard The 5th LW 01-09-2010 11:28 PM

All in all, it wasn't a terribly long gap between post. Just a little bit of an outlier. And Writer's block is understandable, the choice of robbing the museum was an admittedly off the rails choice.

On another note, Krylo better grab and run before the destroyer notices him. He should also be sure to 'accidentally' grab the parcel Evoir mentioned, then we high-tail it back to Rios, or to Cornelia.

I also find it strange that spell check made no effort to correct the words 'Rios' or 'Cornelia'. I'm going to have to check those cities on a map sometime.

Krylo 01-09-2010 11:32 PM

Bard: I already met the destroyer. We had a discussion. He was also the parcel Evoir mentioned.

I totally blew the chance to grab a sweet sword by pushing my luck and opening him up, though.

Naqel 01-10-2010 10:39 AM

The longer my character is out of the picture the more I think it should stay that way.

An android designed for stealthy ambushes shouldn't be using guns about as much as it shouldn't develop into a walking weapon platform, and that's what I was aiming for from the beginning...

Menarker 01-10-2010 12:52 PM

Well, if you ask real nicely, maybe you can switch your weapon skill points in guns to bows. Unless you want to be a glorified walking weapon system.

phil_ 01-10-2010 09:32 PM

So, Truce, is this explosion something Ralts, Jade, and I should be able to hear; something we certainly couldn't hear; or something in between requiring some dice rolling?

Teal Mage 01-10-2010 11:29 PM

And that's probably the best I can manage, by way of negotiation!

Wheee, long post that contains more detail then strictly required! But it does imply the gravity of the situation.

Yes?

Yes, I think it does that.

Truce 01-11-2010 11:51 PM

First - Phil, it'll be something your characters can hear.

Second - Naqel, considering how long it's taking to bring you back into the game, I'll be moving you to a third Group which POS originally going to be part of. Your other members will post their character sheets as soon as they update them. Of course, they have to update them because...

Third - New Character Sheet! I found a better one online than the one that I used. For the people in the game, it's not necessary to update them now - only when you level up, which will be relatively soon for both of your groups anyway.

The skills part of that sheet looks a little jumbled up, the armor and weapon skills especially. Plus, why just list Synthesis (Tinkering)?

But, that aside, we're getting new players? Where did that come from? The same place Krylo seems to do everything Tal does?

Truce 01-12-2010 12:30 AM

Updated the character sheet. Thanks for pointing those things out to me.

Also, I deal with some of the questions on AIM, but since Krylo's character was alone at the time I dealt with some of the things his posts needed to handle at the time then.

I could do that with the groups as a whole as well - but if you guys want to try that, everyone involved will need to be available at the same time.

New players were handled on a mostly "I know these people, felt they were cool enough and patient enough to play at my admittedly slow pace," and did so after a few people gave me some ideas on what to do with the third group.

I'm away from my home computer, but I think I have a few things to comment on your bio. (Other than the fact that you're the first person with a duplicate class. =P)

1: Isn't your total hitpoints supposed to be 10 + Vit Score + Job class HP modifier? I think you forgot to add your VIT score.

2: Some of your skills are too high. Example would be your 3 negotiation and your 3 tinkering synthesis, which requires a rating of 3 for Cha and Int respectively.

3: I think you might have a few skill points leftover? You got Skillful Hero, which means your total skill points would add up to 20 + Int Score (not rating) + 10 (Skillful Hero).

There might be a few other things to check, but I don't have the rulebook in front of me. Sorry.

Sifright 01-12-2010 01:24 PM

My job class gives +3 hp a level and my vit is 4 for +7 a level I believe?
I thought under skills it's rating +1 for maximum?
I'll recheck the skill point usage now though

Menarker 01-12-2010 01:26 PM

Ah, right. ^^; Sorry about that. Like I said, I don't have the rules book in front of me. I was reading your "HP per level thing" and it said 7, so I automatically took that as your thief hp modifier.

Mind you, if you want to save the skill points for later, there is that option too.

Yep I think I will from what I can see I have a single spare skill point at the moment :)

My skill formula should be 18 (thief class) +7 (int) + 10 (job ability)

I'll post up my Bio in a bit I've one already approved for posting but I want to fluff it out a little more than I have already

Bard The 5th LW 01-12-2010 09:23 PM

Just to push things ahead, I'm going to make a post, and run on the assumption that Ralts heard what happened.

Sifright 01-14-2010 08:28 PM

Bleh hopefully the people who are in my group post up their char sheets soon ^^

POS Industries 01-15-2010 03:09 AM

I'll probably post tomorrow (AKA later today). Sorry for the holdup.

mauve 01-15-2010 04:51 AM

Dammit Ecurt, just when I think I understand this system you go and change the signups on me!! XD

Anyway, I'm pretty sure I messed something up here, but I have no idea what. Lemmie know if something looks wrong.

Less Boring Stuff
Appearance: Irving stands just shy of 6ft, has blue eyes and a light complexion, and is a bit on the scrawny side. In a mystery that has stumped the wisest of men, he somehow manages to be incredibly charming and persuasive despite having a name like “Irving” and the fashion sense of a visually-impaired 3-year-old. His clothes are usually red in color in homage to his chosen profession, but generally seem to be comprised of bits and pieces of various outfits matched together for no apparent reason. His hair is shoulder-length and brown, usually in a low ponytail and, more often than not, covered by a large red hat. He thinks the hat makes him look dashing. He’s probably wrong.

Background: Irving was born into a family of merchants. Their successful shop in Rios had been passed down from generation to generation, and unfortunately Irving was next in line to inherit. Possessing a desire for knowledge and adventure, a low tolerance level for mundane tasks, and a reputation for being flighty and overconfident, Irving probably would have been the worst businessman in the history of modern civilization. Luckily, he developed some skill in the magical arts and, on a whim, decided to pursue a career in red magic and adventuring. His parents were secretly relieved. Still, they never expected this to become a permanent occupation: Most people figured he’d take off on some adventure, lose interest or finances, and then show up on his family’s doorstep again within a month. He has thus far proven the naysayers wrong, and has somehow managed to keep himself from getting killed. No one's sure how.

Group 3 already has a Red Mage and a Thief? They are following in the footsteps of greatness for sure.

I also find funny that Irving was a name I briefly considered for Ralts as a last name, but then I decided that something with an R and an M was better. I later remembered that Ralts was also the name of a pokemon.

phil_ 01-15-2010 01:43 PM

Things that are wrong: Your HP should be 16, not 19; and your MP should be 20. The formulas for these stats at level one are 10+VIT(3)+Job Modifier(3) for HP and 10+INT(7)+Job Modifier(3) for MP. Also, if you want to get the +1 EVA from the Nomad's Outfit, you need one point in the Medium Armor skill. Oh, and your EVA is on point too high, since DEX Rating 2+Job bonus 6+1 from the armor is 9. I might've missed something though, don't take my word for all this.

Wait, one last thing, you have Gil listed as zero in the skill block (which is a weird place for Gil and Exp to be) and 500 in the inventory block. I don't know if Ecurt started you guys with more money, so I can't say what it should be.

Crud, also you get +6 HP/level and +10 MP/level.

Maybe I should go over Sifright's sheet, too...

Sifright 01-15-2010 01:49 PM

Please do so :) I would rather find out if I have mistakes on my character sheet now then during play.

phil_ 01-15-2010 01:53 PM

You're naked, but there's nothing in the rules says a naked guy can't play.

Sifright 01-15-2010 01:58 PM

Well I'm not wearing armour i'm going to assume normal clothes don't come under armour unless I'm mistaken?

phil_ 01-15-2010 02:03 PM

You're not mistaken. Seriously? I even threw in the "Animal Plays Sports: The Movie" line and that didn't come off as a joke?

Sifright 01-15-2010 02:20 PM

I was going to say it would be pretty hard to steal things with out people noticing if well you know I'm completely naked where would I hide the stuff I hoard? :o

mauve 01-15-2010 02:48 PM

Fixed. Thanks Phil! I have no idea how I ended up with 500 gil. That's way more than it should be.

I was gonna be a dark knight, originally, but then it was pointed out that our team didn't have a healer. Granted, we don't have a heavy-hitter either, but I figure at least now when we get beat up we'll have a slightly smaller chance of dying. Assuming Irving pays attention long enough to heal everybody.

Other Stuff!Age: 16
Appearance: A white-furred Moogle with purple wings and a purple Deely-Bopper, Nil stands at slightly less than a meter tall and weighs 24kg. Slight-looking, he wears a blue jacket and a black bottom; no shoes or anything under the jacket. Unless you count the mooglerang in the jacket's inside pocket, of course.

Background: Ever since Nil witnessed a White Mage using her restorative magic to heal the injuries of an overeager black magic initiate (and the backfired spell that caused them), he has been fascinated by magic. And there is no magic more interesting than the mysterious Blue Magic. Utterly unique, not much can be learned about it beyond the legends of the Immortals - Blue Mages of great power who were reknowned for being extraordinarily difficult to kill. Nil has spent most of his adult life studying the art of Blue Magic and the tales of those who were Blue Mages before him.

And here are the Limit Breaks I was thinking of using. Feel free to rip them apart.

Limit Break - Soul of the MonsterLimit Break - Soul of the Monster: Nil will insist that just because his magic comes from monsters doesn't mean he is one. There are inexplicable times, however, when the moogle can feel an alien force filling him with renewed strength and vigor.
-01 - Self-Only
+05 - Healing (50% HP)
+06 - Status Effect (Haste)

Limit Break - Soul of the ChimeraLimit Break - Soul of the Chimera: It is when a beast is cornered that it is at its most unpredictable; Blue Mages know this better than anyone else. Drawing upon the monsterous and chaotic aspects of his magic, Nil lashes out with an unknown kind of arcane blast that shifts its nature to best deal harm to each individual foe it strikes.
+03 - Attack (Magic - INT)
+05 - Area Effect (Foe)
+01 - Elemental (Earth)
+01 - Elemental (Fire)
+01 - Elemental (Wind)
+01 - Elemental (Water)
+01 - Elemental (Ice)
+01 - Elemental (Lightning)
+01 - Elemental (Shadow)
+03 - Elemental (Holy)
2 unused points.

Limit Break - Soul of the ImmortalLimit Break - Soul of the Immortal: The title of 'Immortal' has always been frighteningly accurate when taken by advanced Blue Mages. When it really counts, sometimes Nil can live up to the title, both returning himself to fighting order and taking on a determination so fierce he won't stay down - and extending these effects to his allies, too.
+05 - Area Effect (Ally)
+05 - Esuna
+04 - Revive (20%)
+10 - Status Effect (Auto-Life)
+06 - Status Effect (Haste)

And I know that people're gonna say that the +HP/MP per level thing of mine is wrong, but I want to keep that as the class stuff, unless Truce says otherwise.

Oh, and Mauve, I think you have 3 more skill points: Red Mages get 18, plus an INT of 7 is 25; I counted only 22.

mauve 01-15-2010 08:24 PM

Oh? Cool! Thanks!

And if you guys would rather I switch to dark knight, let me know. I don't know who else is on our team now, if anyone, so I dunno if it'd be better to have Irving with his cure spell or someone a little tougher but without support magic capabilities. I have character sheets for both of them, and although I think I like Irving as a character more, I'm happy to play either one.

Menarker 01-15-2010 11:10 PM

Well, just to let you know, dark knight might actually be a good idea. Magic support is awesome, and healing is useful for sure, but a dark knight actually has more support than most people realize. (Krylo educated me quite some time ago about dark knights)

1: Tougher foes may include foes with spell-casting, charging up a super attack or special defences. Normally, you would have to do a team-attack in order to deal with that, and that has a chance of failing. Dark Knight can practically do it himself because they can use massive weapons which have knock-back which interrupts spellcasting at least and maybe those other things too. And without the potential absorbing of a friendly ally's spell like a Red Mage's Runic might do.

2: Your group is lacking some sort of tanky goodness/heavy hitting power. Without something like that, you are more likely to get interrupted by foes hitting you in the attempt to stop your spellcasting via the aforementioned technique. Also, if you don't have a tankish sort of guy, if you run out of MP, you're kinda in trouble a bit.

3: Some of the skills for Dark Knight such as the Sword HP drain ability and his Fear effect can offer some support in combat. In addition, a dark knights ability to use black magic can be used not as a blaster like a black-mage, but for utility purpose like Tractor (deals with air-borne foes), Osmose for MP supply, Drain to support his health, Arise for skeleton slaves (meatshields for the party or scouts or trap-bitch), among other stuff. Just because it isn't white magic or blue doesn't mean that he can't support.

Either way, you're free to choose your character, but it would make your character more unique (since no one else is a dark knight) and you would be able to play a prominent role in some form or other. :3

Also, it's entirely possible/likely any of your team-mates would include Naqel (A ranger), Overcast (blue mage), Wizardcat (Another Blue Mage), and Siright (a thief). Since regardless of the combination, you would be short a tank, it might be a worthwhile though. (OC has a healing spell in his arsenal at any rate.)

POS Industries 01-15-2010 11:15 PM

Plus, if you're feeling that the DRK is a bit bland, you could always try throwing in some of the more exciting personality characteristics of the RDM. Why follow stereotypes?
