8-Bit Theater e-books, storyarc links, and "Twinking out with Red Mage"
If you've been wondering why you can't find any links to the "Twinking Out With Red Mage" column on the site, it's because they're just not there. Between technical issues involved in updating content for the new site and Brian's hard drive crash, some things have been lost in translation or just plain lost, including the original column files.
But hey, nothing's ever really dead on the internet -- some forum members have been kind enough to share their personal copies of the Red Mage column and are hosting them here on the NPF Wiki. Just now they've only got the first few columns up, but keep an eye on that page for updates! |
Re-uploaded on Sharebee (I share the hate of RapidShare as well). 1101-1194 is added and the whole 1-1194 is added in cbz format.

Any chance on getting the last bit in a volume in pdf format?

8-Bit Complete
Here's the complete 8-bit Theater comic. From episode 1 all the way through to the epilogue. It is in 7-Zip format. (8-bit Theater.7z)

That's great, thanks!
For everyone who doesn't know: 7-Zip is a free, open source archiving program that can handle zip and rar files as well. Get it here. |
Thanks, I read these ages ago, (see join date), and loved them. So glad I can finally read them all at once, with a nice beer in my hand :P
|
Thanks so much. This is a huge help to me. Now I can sit back and read this stuff on my PSP.
Really loved TLF's Flash movies back in the day, and I just ran across an 8-Bit Theater quote on TvTropes and thought, "Hey, I ought to go read that comic." :) Quote:

Yeah, It does.

Any chance for a reupload?
|
I have 1-1127 archived. If someone doesn't reupload in a few days I'll just download the rest and upload it to my Dropbox for everyone. However I don't have all the extras.
If someone resposts the files I can put it in my Dropbox anyways that way it won't be removed after 30 days. |
Here is a re-upload of SlickStretch's 7z file that has been renamed. http://rapidshare.com/files/421276859/8-bit_Theatre.7z
I don't have a premium account though, so its not going to be working long. |
Will there ever be a hard compilation of 8-Bit Theater? I cannot afford a kindle/nook so ebooks are not ideal for me.

Hey does anyone have a link to the archive. Thanks so much for this comic, it's amazing.
|
Any chance someone could please make the 7z archive file available again? Thank you very much anyone that can assist with this.

Yeah try it here, it is the same one I uploaded last time, it should stick around longer being in a dropbox now.

Hey! i was wondering if it would be possible to get the vol. 7 (601-700) link reposted? the link for it in the early posts directs me to the link for vol. 8 for some reason
Thanks! |
Just pointing out that with the takeover of Megaupload and the passage of time, none of the links on this page are functional.
I would sincerely love to have the archive of 8-Bit Theater on my hard drive. I had the main comics on a different hard drive, along with much of Twinkin' Out and Evil Princess Sara, but it's completely beyond recovery now. I'm also disappointed that Sardapedia has no extras to speak of. Doesn't anyone have "Cookies: They're not just for breakfast anymore!" or the Dynasty Memories comics? So many things were lost with the site's visual upgrade that I seriously feel it wasn't worth it. If anyone out there has anything, please, upload it! If you're opposed to Rapidshare and its ilk (as am I) then PM me and we can discuss an upload to my own website. The point is, it's been two and a half years since the Epilogue, and I wish the comic were better preserved, considering the influence it's had on so many lives and corners of the internet. Many of the archived pages on nuklearpower.com right now are only partial - instances when Clevinger had two images on the same page but only one was saved. I also miss many of the forum threads that were out there for each comic. There are so many nuances of 8bt that were more easily understood with those posts. I just don't want this comic to be forgotten. It's that important to me. Anyone out there who can help? |
Mousemuffins, I just tested my dropbox link, it still works.
http://dl.dropbox.com/u/17069040/8-bit%20Theatre.7z That's all that I have. |

I'm mostly concerned about the extras. Some of them really added to the comic. They say nothing's ever really dead on the internet, but considering that NP doesn't even get archived by the Wayback Machine... |
hard copy?
I love that they still have ebook copies.
I would love to purchase a hard copy of the 8bit theater saga. I would pay many 10's of dollars. |
