Red Ninja Thief Comics?

Does anyone have copies of the red Thief ninja outfit comics, ya know, before the switch to black thing happened?

Flarecobra 02-01-2011 09:31 PM

What red Ninja Thief? He was always wore black as a ninja! :P

But seriously, Brian changed all the comics that had the red ninja Thief to black a long, long time ago.

Astrobot7000 02-01-2011 09:50 PM

Yeah, I know that.
There are still some people with saved copies of those old comics though. At least, that is my hope.

... a sign of the apocalypse, for sure.

Anyway, I doubt a lot of people would have it. It's not something that was anticipated and it was changed by the next comic, and unless people kept an offline archive back then...

I did. :knowledge:

If someone gives me a list of the comics in question (with links), I should be able to pull them up. But you know, as long as you're looking them up anyway, the effect would be exactly the same if you recolored the outfit yourself. Takes a minute or two tops, and not per episode either.

You know you could repaint them youserlf in Paint... right?

...just sayin, it's not like it's some sort of collectors item...

Astrobot7000 02-03-2011 09:48 PM

That's what I'm gonna do, I suppose.

Related question: Does anyone have a copy of every comic with bard in it?

Bells 02-04-2011 12:24 AM

Well, yeah... i do, but that's different. You hardly ever seem Brian backpedal so hard with such a character... i mean, we are talking about over 50 pages here, that's a LOT of Retcon for a sprite comic.

Even though i loved the whole Elfland Vs King Steve War over a freaking bridge that even though only covered a 2 feet deep river, was still deamend as having strategic value, i'm kinda Glad to see it go... Bard's romantic sub-plot kinda runied Red Mage's backstory y'know?

Astrobot7000 02-10-2011 08:41 PM

Anyone know which comics they are? Man, there's a lot to sift through.

phil_ 02-11-2011 12:17 AM

I think I came into the comic after Bard never existed, so I'd also appreciate some Bard comics.

I don't recall to what you're referring... I remember Bard being in the comic, but I don't remember a romantic sub-plot.
