The most recent one with Mollesk using Intrusion on two of Faynoc's pokebrids. The one that made you say you were scared of Renny/me.
On a side note, I came to realize that I might encourage you to allow Leprihare and Elizabeth have fun with Mollesk secretly on the side. Once Renny finds out about Intrusion, he's going to attempt to remove that particular trait by altering Mollesk's training. But with those two's... contradictory advice, Mollesk will continue to use Intrusion out of habit/confusion, much to Renny's disbelief. :3 As for the battle, Those ruin/poison types have quad weakness to psychic, so that can be taken advantage of. Renny especially can take advantage of the fact that his Psycho Cut attack is physical yet ranged damage. |

Anyhow, I'm slightly confused due to the gap in the story. Apparently Jeanette and Violet is with the group now. That much is said. But in what position? And is Pierce actually able to contribute to the fight or is he out of it due to his beating from Horace? (and you hinting that he might appear in a body-bag) Also, knowing Violet's form would really help out. Otherwise, the only thing I have to work with is that one of her forms is Beautifly. I mean, I imagine it will be explained when Drac finishes his post. But at the very least, I'm stating that you might want to include that detail when you write it up. |

Jeanette: Unknown position and role Violet: Unknown position and role Melanie: Duplicate medic (Not contributing unless she becomes Renny's enforcer) Pierce and his pokemons: Dying/Dead? (Not Contributing) Need an enforcer for Renny presumably. Guess it depends on what Jeanette's and Violet's abilities are and whether I choose one of them over Melanie. Only role we don't specifically have is a Destroyer. This is just off the top of my head. Obviously if someone else has an issue or preference or if there is other individuals who I am missing, shout it out. EDIT: Awww shit... Renny still doesn't know what it does, and ignorance is the best defense. And after the first use, Pierce and Impact will keep yelling at him to use it because, goddammit man, our lives are at stake here! |
Anyhow, while I'm still waiting for more data on the other characters, I got a short-hand idea for a battle plan which I'm putting here so we don't forget.
Basically, we want to avoid getting the numbers go out of hand. So either the clone machine or the Ruin General is our first target. Since Granx can do more actions, create more units in the same time span, has a double weakness and has lower hitpoints, he is the first target to go. As much as tooting my own horn is a bit in bad taste, Renny is one of the best ones to deal with Granx. Psychic hits that double weakness for quad damage and one of the psychic moves, Psycho Cut, is an increased crit move, which will do 8x damage if it crits due to how crit works with weaknesses. With Renny holding a crit improving item and Lola buffing his crit chance with Dire Hit, he'll have a 50% chance to deal heavy damage. Of course, other psychic attacks should be directed that way too, hopefully to be improved by Mirror's attack booster. Those capable of using instant death moves should hit the clones to lower the number of strong attackers, especially if Renny's attack doesn't crit or otherwise fail to knock out Granx. Anyhow, gotta go for work. See you all later. |

There are a few things including duplicates that stand to mind. Sent you the details to check out.
But I should ask the others about this though. Does anyone have an issue with Jeanette's 100% accuracy ability the way it is now? Combined with her pokemon's OHKO moves, she as a Shock Trooper is practically sure to be capable of almost ensuring 100% chance of knocking out two foes of any strength (unless they are immune to OHKOs such as bosses) and heavily damaging a third every turn. Most Shock Troopers would KILL to have that sort of power/reliability. Unless her availability is limited for a short period of time? I would suggest, for the sake of balance, making the increase in accuracy double. So she is still the most accurate of all the other attackers, and her pokemons can still use OHKO moves better than most people... But her OHKO moves only have 60% hit rating. Worth the chance of the gamble most of the time, but still pretty fair. Their other attacks will also have a higher accuracy rating including those with 50% accuracy doubled to 100%. |

Basic info is cool. Hell, you could just sort of hint who and what you are in your first RP post. I don't really care. It's pretty much just Pick Up And Play Pokemon Umbral.
Just make sure it's suitably wacky. I want people who don't even know what Pokemon Umbral is to check out that thread and laugh so hard they blow scalding hot coffee out of their nose. Which I hear is a great way to get rid of a stuffy nose. And nose hairs. And probably mucus production entirely. |

Well, it's entirely possible that Faynoc is paranoid that a Ditto pokebrid might one day cause him a lot of trouble if he couldn't ensure their loyalty for all times. Stuff like impersonating him to get into restricted locations or spreading contradictory, slanderous, or batshit crazy speech that would make recruiting new members impossible if word spread that he was a lunatic.
EDIT: Also, I'd imagine that if Faynoc could make Ditto pokebrids, he'd had them enter PATCA headquarters and start shooting up shit when everyone is unprepared/defenseless or do some heavy duty sabotage and spy work. |

I'm sure we'd all appreciate more filling in on the context, like how Jeanette and Violet met the group and that sort of thing. EDIT: The rules for critical hit got revised by bulbapedia. Apparently there is no stage where one can crit with 100% succuess. The only method to do so are the two moves specifically made to always crit. Ah well. Still the best plan by far. |

Well, I got the finer print of the plan written down (although I did have to make one little edit which I did not catch earlier). AB can at least prepare the battle results. (AB, if you need any help or assistance with the damage formula site, let me know. I can guide you to how the data I provided can be inputted, although it should be fairly simple as I listed all the stats that should be required to input as well as provided the defensive stats for when the foes attack back.)
