Anyways, I'm going to post now. And then maybe see the public pad before I do some City of Heroes.

I hope you don't mind the one-month timeskip halfway through my post, AB. I thought this intermission was supposed to be long, so I figured it was okay. Still, I'll change it if you don't like it.

Anyway, big post. Including a collaboration piece with Gem, Liz pulling out the big guns against Renny, and Pierce showing what extended exposure to Liz can do to you.

As well was Pierce having a conversation with a woman he's not looking to bang. It's a miracle!

Even so, there's actually only a couple of convos that AB has to respond to.

As I told Drac, I'm delaying on responding to the time-skip related points until I get to that point. I'd imagine some of the reaction posts from AB might change a few things.

Also, totally guessing here, but I imagine the person who took Renny's photograph so secretly is probably one of PATCA's snipers hired by Rachel to use their skills with a camera instead. Likely Calisto, who has a hankering for cute things as well.

More importantly, what's this I hear about Renny getting training from Catherine instead of Chizuru? If that's true then, frankly, it seems to me that Menarker might be milking this Cutest Agent thing for all it's worth. And AB isn't helping.

Whatever happened to Pierce being the best-looking guy around? Can he get groupies if I promise he won't sleep with any of them?

Calisto liking cute things was mentioned at the end of Renny's sidequest (she REALLY like kitties), and a few times in omakes as well.

I figured that Renny getting training from Catherine would allow me to get the same training accomplished without stepping on your toes regarding your girl. And I think AB had that in mind as well by revealing that Catherine was a boxer. The cutest agent thing was not something I talked with AB about at all. I had no idea that Renny would get such attention from Catherine, Pamilla or anyone else. But having her train Renny seemed like a good idea, so I suggested that after so Chizuru would be free to attend to Pierce's training. (AB seems to think it'll also be funnier)

You already got "groupies" of your own in a way. Or rather, more likely, you're getting sleeping partners like Shizuka, Jeanette, Irene and Chizuru in relatively short order.
I'd wouldn't predict Renny getting any sort of action like that for quite a while.

But right now he's just some guy to everyone else. It might behoove you for the purposes of separating him from Charlotte to have him start a conversation for a change.

Just didn't want to put it in the post in case there was anything you would type that might influence/change that. And it's not like it needs to be done the day after.

We've been having so many private shenanigans in the Umbral pad lately and you weren't invited.

Y'know, Menarker, Renny can easily pick up his check at the agency. Hell, it only takes the same amount of paperwork as a change of address slip. Of course, if Renny has a bank account which isn't difficult, direct deposit is not an alien concept in the Pokemon World.

And yes, one month is fine. That actually sounds better than simply two weeks which I was thinking of until before.

Ah. Then nevermind about Renny telling Irene then. He'll just get direct deposit then. (Given the money he's been given for finding Mollesk, and all those missions, and the fact he lived at home and is now moving in for free, he should be getting some very nice interest. I'm starting to believe Renny could end up like Thugnificent like you joked about before.)

I keep wondering if pokebrid mating season will be over by a certain point or so due to the timeskip.
I haven't been trying to take advantage of it, but it's just good for reference to know if an NPC or PC should/would be behaving in a particular way.

It should be about over, but since a good deal of time passes in the intermissions, expect to be hit by it again before you know it.

I have a feeling Pierce is going to break Mio with all these foreign concepts he's introducing her to.

Pierce: "Hey Mio, wanna go out for ice cream?"

Well AB, I was actually wondering how Lola was responding. Like if she said anything to Renny after he told her he was going to get his items (and that he was thankful and all that), if she was still in shock from the entire rooming in notion, or if she went home for the night as opposed to rooming in with him (or just went to get her own stuff) or she was already in bed as Renny was entering and all that.

But I'll leave that up to you I guess. I'll write up something myself either to prepare for the training event and for the time skip events which Drac made very recently.

I think it's not so much naive or incapable of grasping these things for Mio as it is that she thinks those extracurricular events are all in vain if they aren't in effect of use to her mother or something like that.

Wow, unless that was a poor choice of wording, I never knew that Irene was also an Eevee trainer, nevermind in the same group (just like her daughter I guess.) Makes me wonder what her element type was since her current pokemon teams doesn't follow any elemental pattern.

It might be confusion on AB's part.

Or it might be that her daughter and her daughter's deceased fiancee were part of the Thirteen Eevee Threat.

We know the latter was true since Rayleen was the steel type and her fiancee the dragon type before her. It's whether Irene herself was included in the group that counts.

Really, the only event aside from yours going on right now that's one month later is Pierce's conversation with Mio. And the ones with Pierce and Liz and Renny, but those are on hold.

Basically, the timeline as I understand it goes:

Day of the funeral: Irene fights Impact. Irene talks to Charlotte. Irene goes out with Pierce. Renny runs away from home.

Dunno when Myrie and Burkmont's conversation takes place, but it doesn't matter for the purposes of this.

Two days after the funeral: Impact questions Pierce.
A few days (purposefully left unspecified) after the funeral: Pierce talks to Shizuka about the dojo.

A month after the funeral: Pierce talks to Renny. Elizabeth talks to Renny. Pierce talks to Mio.

I'm assuming Jeremy talking with Garus also takes place a month after. Or whenever Bard wants it to happen.

I'm gonna take a while guess that Jeremy stumbles upon Garus' work in progress and wants a Charlotte X Shannon doujinshi for himself.

Who or what is Rezonark?

Considered a diety in Honmyr, though not a particularly popular one, Rezonark is a legendary Pokemon not yet seen, but has been accuracy envisioned. It's referred to the Mad God Pokemon, and is considered to be behind many of the stranger features of Honmyr, from its lunatics like Faynoc and Burkmont to its more dangerous unique Pokemon to the existence of Pokemonolis (the Pokemon city), the power of Rage of its many applications and, you guessed it, the "Offlands."

Rezonark exists on a different plane of existence much like Giratina which Jeanette calls the Rezonscape. A large project of hers is to access this plane through a portal she's created herself which isn't meeting much success. It's probably for the best. One could only imagine what kind of fucked up shit one would find in a space ruled over by a Pokemon referred to as the Mad God.

You could slap the offending person around a few times or something. Harliette was basically pulling out a high level verbal bluff (I hope). Pointing a gun yes, but nothing much else.
Charlotte on the other hand could be a bit more physically aggressive if you wanted to top that. If you don't want to do lasting damage (too extreme for a minor issue) you could have Charlotte do something like push them in the mud and make them wallow in humiliation as you put the heel of her boot on their neck.

Even better, you could do it without a reason. Harliette was trying to make Lola see reason and accept responsibility for her actions.
Charlotte could do it for increasingly minor transgression. :3

Considering the sort of apartment he lives in now (sizable enough for his pokemon to be out of the pokeballs), if he's having money trouble, I'd think it's because his upkeep almost equal the earnings that he makes at work. So basically, after buying the dojo, Pierce has very little wiggle room for "personal expenses" unless he intends to go short on food or utilities.

That's just my guess though.

Charlotte's dogs are about as low maintenance as a bunch of dogs would be, but I can see a Metagross, Kingdra, Adamanitar, etc. being a bit more hectic to take care of.

Of course, the entirely opposite situation is also potentially hilarious where Renny is brought (kidnapped) with the rest of the group to a joint he's not exactly age appropriate for.

Although, I'd rather Pierce didn't work at the same place Renny lives, given Renny is trying to keep a low profile on where he is actually living.

Honestly, if Pierce is that interested in Jeanette and Darcelle, he could easily just get a job at Ricewood Masterworks. Might even learn him some stuff. Between Elizabeth, Violet and Jeanette herself, I highly doubt he'd get rejected.

That's a good option. But the end result I'm hoping for is for Pierce to get a job he actually likes and not just grunt work.

Oddly enough, this sort of situation would probably be seen as normal if Renny was an adult, considering she did him a favor (almost akin to saving his life), they are in the same group and all that and she's pretty obvious with her flirting.

Renny does make it look like a horrible situation due to his naviety and underage status though.

After the events I've got going on right now, I only have four or five more events with NPCs that I want to do before the party.

Three or four of them should be short, and I can promise four won't have a lot of content-per-post for you to write. The one that will is Pierce interrogating Irene about everything, but I don't expect that one to take a lot of posts to finish.

Not yet. So far he had been doing pretty well with Togekiss as his overland transportation.

Although he'll probably apply for a license in a not so distant future since without one he can't really accommodate his friends or any large loads, especially to unfamiliar places where he can't teleport.

And please don't cue the "too short to reach the pedals jokes". It's overdone as it is. ^^;

Renny's first car will be a fancy new clown car.

That one summer I worked at a summer camp, we all would stuff ourselves in this one dude's car to get back to the staff cabins because our station was the farthest away. It was hectic. Gave me a greater appreciation for clowns.
