I can understand you 'forgetting me' since I've more or less slipped under the NPF radar aside from Umbral nowadays rarely posting in other subforums, and I've probably aggravated you once or twice with my silly/ridiculous min-maxing ways in the few RPs that I've shared with you, although those were some interesting times. And you have been supportive in the few times I have had questions or needed assistance (both on forum and on RaiRO.). So I'm grateful for your presence.

I may not interact with you much directly nowadays, but I hold you and your posts in high regards.

I take it as a credit that drunkposting = happy thoughts, and not mean ones.
 

In a way, to me this thread is a good reminder that behind every name is a person, and we should all be so positive toward one another.

If I were to assume anything from previous posts, I'd guess that it's that it takes a lot for Krylo to be "drunk" and, thus, he doesn't do it it often.

I am sure 151 helped this time. It's always funny when you make something simple like a rum and coke and then people aren't aware you're using 151 as the rum. They get sloppy fast.



In any case, he's my kind of drunk. Everyone is my best friend when I am drinking, and I will go out of my way to make sure they know it. I honestly believe it's because, sober or inebriated, I have little trouble finding the positive in people and really just want everyone to get along with one another. Maybe something like that came out here from Krylo.


Thank you, I appreciate that you think well of me / my posting. I also am aware that I don't necessarilly make it easy for folks to really get to know much more about me. Ever since I started exploring communities online (sheesh, nearly two decades ago), I'd striven to keep my "real life" and "online life" separate, though I have been lax here and there with dropping facts (e.g. where I had been living, grad school). I do worry that it's one of the reasons why, despite liking a lot of folks I chat with / post alongside online, virtually none of these relationships have had a chance to deepen and flourish as well as they might or should.

I was honored that you even took the time to address me, as I expected I'd not have given you a lot to talk about.

Rest assured, though, if we met in person I've no doubt we'd be fast friends.

In any case, while I often frown at drunk-threads, all of your OP was very warm and uplifting, I felt. It made me smile, and not in that "lol look at Krylo" way.

Not sure if I should be worried or relieved, but I don't hang around on NPF nearly as much as I did say, five years or more years ago. I might post more, but sometimes I think I've hanged around 'some other' places too much and thus, it has made me both better AND worse. I still have a load of skepticism and other doubts about what I read and hear. The, "Don't trust everything you read online," doctrine is a strong one with me.

Though if I had anything to say about you, it's probably this:
You've been quite possibly the coolest dude I ever met online, no jokes. No matter what seems to be happening, you manage to keep it cool. Like, back in the day, I won't lie, I thought your whole attitude was some sort of front. This was back when I was like... what... 14? 15? So I was just a stupid kid(but now I'm a stupid adult, heh). I was gonna be sarcastic and say something lame like 'ew feelings hur hur' but actually this thread is the oddest but best surprise to read today.

Like, uh, I ain't gonna lie some of this is like ultra-awkward and/or stick-poking-a-bear level drunk-honesty (dronesty? Hrunk?) but I feel like I just got to know a bunch of folks way more and, man, Krylo, like, thank you for saying nice shit about me and my wife, that really made my day. Also if you really feel like that about me you should feel good too because you had a good influence on me in a lot of ways, and even when I was dumb before you never ever made me feel bad or angry about being here so, thank you again! I got a lot of love for you.

I am legitimately sympathetic to Krylo's sexuality hassles tho. Figuring out my own sexuality was a car wreck and a half, and I'm sure it isn't any easier for him. This sort of thing is something I wouldn't wish on anyone.

Truth be told, it kinda feels like a high school reunion whenever everyone gathers to one thread, but the difference is, that people actually want to see the others again.

This might require a small grocery list for me.
- Case of Red Bull (Because why the hell not?)
- 4 shots of Spiced Rum (Because I'm a lightweight. Go figure.)
- Some pomegranate juice (To help the medicine go down.)
- A couple bottles of Water (To offset the possible hangover.)
- Aspirin (For the morning after)
- Tums (Same as above, since my stomach will be on fire)

I'll bring the music, someone else brings the booze.

Hahah, here's what I've drank in the past hour and a half:

1x Mike's Hard Blood Orange Seasonal Flavor
2x Cruzan Black Cherry Rum
3x Rum and Dr Pepper (3 shots within the two drinks)
1x another shot of the Cruzan rum, killing the bottle.

I have pretty much a full liquor cabinet, because I buy things and drink very little, so if anyone gives me a drink, I'll try it.

I have had, since then, another shot of cruzan black cherry rum, a 50% buttershots, 50% baileys shot, and a caramel apple shot (Butterscotch schnapps (buttershots), and sour apple schnapps), and still am relatively sober.

Sorry Krylo, I am not yet ready to best your huge snakepost.

Just chug the entire bottle of buttershots, and then switch to drinking the rum straight 'cause that should get you buzzed enough to handle it. Maybe. With the other stuff you drank.

I guess I could do that. I only have a shot or two left in MY bottle of buttershots, then a roommate bought more (Because I gave her most of my bottle). And I have a crapton of Kraken. I should have bought another handle when it was on sale, $22 a handle for Kraken is great, even if I don't drink super often.

Don't worry. :) I'm actually pretty good about getting JUST past tipsy, and stopping. Even though it takes a lot for me to do so, I don't really get drunk. I have no intention of drinking more than I have now.

That's possibly the cause of my high tolerance. I don't want to get wasted, so I drink in moderation.

Never actually been drunk, but even after a pint I tend to talk slower and talk a lot more. Normally I'm a motormouth so I actually sound much more natural.
Then I get sleepy after the second pint.

Kyanbu is a pretty decent guy who probably needs to own what he's into more, for his own benefit not for anyone else, and I don't really have any complaints against him.

The moderator crew are generally cool folks that I couldn't really see myself being friends with in any offline capacity but I can tell they're basically decent people.

POS indulges my bullshit far more than I deserve. He is a very cool guy with good taste.

Satan's Onion is probably the nicest fucking person I've ever encountered.

Greed is a cool guy who is fun to chat about bullshit with and generally seems to have his head screwed on proper.

Dunno that Snake is still posting but I like Snake. He's a good guy and he does his best and he's genuinely grown a lot as a person, probably far more than anyone else on these forums.

Dunno if Gem still posts but I like Gem a lot. A lot a lot a lot. He's a sweetheart and fun and I wish I talked to him more.

Terex is awesome. She's pretty much on the same level as Satanzo for me. Just super great and super nice.

Dunno that I have more to share. Sorry. Everything else is either "I don't have an opinion of you as a person" or "The opinion I have of you isn't worth putting into this post".

I've been absent from NPF for a while because A: related forum drama was becoming slightly toxic, for reasons that were partially my fault, and I needed to cool out, but more importantly B: I've recently been diagnosed with complications from kidney stones and general urinary issues that have brought me to the ER three times in the past two weeks and have generally left me a miserable shell of a person.

I just wanted to show up and say like, I really appreciated this, like you have no idea how much that particular piece of your drunk rambling made a really objectively awful week considerably better just by virtue of it existing.

You're pretty awesome too, Krylo.
