Favourite character?
 

This thread was re-made because the old one was so enormous and old that it was horribly biased and more or less full of spam. No need for that.

So without further ado, I present the new poll. Who is your favourite character? Why? Vote away.

Also, I gave the option to vote for more than one character since I am sure there are some who wouldn't want to be restricted to just one choice. Might show who's the favourite overall, too. Though I guess we know who that is.

Thief > BM because Thief knows how to be moral in order to get things easier from others.
Thief > RM because Thief's intellect is a lot more, percentage wise, appliable to the situation.
Thief > Fighter because Thief's mobility is equal to Fighter's armor, Thief's daggerwork is slightly more efficient than Fighter's mindless slashing, and Thief has skills beyond these things, whereas Fighter just has a friendship based solely on abuse.
Thief > WM because Thief doesn't let archaic concepts like morals stop him from getting what he wants.
Thief > BB because he is smarted and has knives instead of lumps of flesh.
Thief > Garland because Garland's an idiot.
Thief > Bikke for the same reason as Garland.
Thief > EPS because Thief is a male elf and EPS is a female human. Elves are pretty much superior to humans and the entire 8BT world seems to be sexist against females.

King Steve. The man with the shoes made of fresh babies...

Red Mage because he has a +5/+5 hat of omnipotence

BM because he stabs things with sharp implements of descruction.

Black Mage - Cause he solves things through violence.

Red Mage - He is a black hole that draws in sanity and from which escapes only stat boosting.

Would have choosen fighter as well, buuut figured that two would be enough to pick.

I've got a fever...and the only thing that can help is more :rmage:!

Thief can do that, and knows when not to.

I'd say thief is more effecient at it...seeing as hes not a weak mage.

Thief could steal your fever and slip it to Ranger to make him look bad.

I like King Steve personally. Nothing like a disillusioned youthful skitzo to make a story complete.

Black Mage has my vote, anyone that can add that much stabbity death into a comic deserves the thumbs up. Along with the fact that he is just so darn witty. =P

Well.. like I voted in the previous thread.. I went for Red Mage. But since you can vote for more then one person, I also went for good ol' Black Mage.

But BM doesnt need more votes..

I was gonna put in King Steve but he hasn't made many appearances...so I opted for Bikke instead. The unfortunate thing being he isn't really that funny, I guess...

Black Mage and White Mage....even though my user name is White Mage, I can't decide.

EPS, i would of voted for her last time, but she wasnt a choice. and thief, after re-reading all the comics(in about 18 hours and 3 pints of peach tea and cherry coke, and the inabilty to look at anything real with out seeing pixes) i have decided i like theif more then BM, in his special stealing ways

Dude, BM is evil he'd probably go to hell.

Why Bikke? Drizz'l would have been a much better choice then Bikke.

Hes been there...his ultimate punishment would be Heaven.

In this, as in life, I have to go with whoever has the coolest toys. I'd assume that since thief can fill up and enitre bag of holding, he's got to have them in there somewhere.

Remember the giant when the LWs came back to Elfland? If BM were switched with Fighter, then Thief would hold back if not for the legion of giants then to convenience the ammo reclamation crew. BM, however, would stab the giant prince out of spite and idiotic impulse.

No Dr. Swordopolis? He was, you must admit, the coolest character ever.

But BM is still friggin' awesome.

I had to choose 4 favorites. (hello I listed 5 I was waiting for someone to comment on the less than accurate counting)

I chose:

:rmage: Red Mage because his family life growing up is much worse than mine. (And he looks better in drag than most guys I have seen losing the bet to do it)

:bmage: Black Mage because when ley lines colide in a living being the Multiverse should take notice. (And I can't stand the other two light warriors anyway.)

:wmage: White Mage because of all the 8-Bit characters she is the most like a character from FF ready to attack and heal in ones own best interests and looking out for the Greater Good. (And I like how she demured for the cute guy who I think will kill them all in a jason-esque future eppisode, or at least die trying. He did after all implicate himself allot talking about Crystal Lake earlier.)

:cool: Evl Princess Sara (she deserves an personal emoticon too) because she is by far the smartest in the entire series including Sarda the Sage. When surrounded by idiots, instead of talking in small words, she switches to actions that they will understand so much easier. I can't wait for her to overthrow Chaos and set up a new relegion of her own.

Lastly I clicked Other because of Sulk so sad so imprisoned such an easy target for shunning I would love to see him ignored in the margins of the comics again soon.

I have to go with BM. He's shown that my dream is indeed possible: To take over Hell, thus creating a world were my sins go unpunished! Also the whole atomic blast at a whim. Even if it is only once a day, I'd still like to be able to do that.

i like fighter the best, all the characters are cool and have pretty cool personalities but fighter isnt too bright and then he'll come up with totally random intelligence ^^ plus he likes swords

I thought aout which character I would miss most if they were permanently removed from the comic. It was Fighter, though Thief was a close second.

This most recent episode assures Thief is numero uno.

:thief: that is the way to go. He has tricked every one in the party at least once. plus he has 95% of the time the answer to every soultion. its pretty plain to see the choice. plus he is elven.

:thief: for his exploition of the others, stealing and just being kool

I say BM because of that incredibly powerful Hdoken, it really makes him quite a formidable opponent. However, Thief just might be better, after all he is smarter, has more cunning, and is an elf after all.

BM and Fighter, they are a comedy pair

Hm, I would have to say Black mage, not just because he lacks any sense of morals, but that his plans often (and hillariously) fail. Of course, he is only fully utilized with a moron, and luckly we have fighter to be his idiotic and overly trusting friend.

Fighter, because he's an idiot with a smart streak.

As RM's hat i feel i am qualified as an expert in this feild, and it is my expert opinion that Fighter will always be the best due to the fact that he is the smartest member of the 8-Bit team. If you don't believe me check the issue where he tricks Drizz'l into cutting him down from the gaint spider web.

I like Theif and Red Mage. Theif is always tricking people into stuff, and Red Mage said my name when he first popped up, making it my favorite word ever.

I voted for three people.

First up: Red mage. Coolest. Character. Ever.

Second: Thief. Just look at my name. He's in it!

Third: Other. Gotta love Akbar!

Black Mage. The complete lack of morals is a real turn on.
