This seems so much easier then to search all those posts for peoples sprite sheets. Everyone seems to be up on getting peoples sprite sheet I thought "hey, why don't we have a thread just for sprite sheets?" So I bring to you that thread. Now this thread is ONLY for sprite sheets and nothing else. I don't want it filled with spam. This is a refernce thread to any one on the forum that wants to make a sprite comic about some of thier favorite forumits.

heh, I actually made/edited a sprite sheet for myself. ^^ And what kind of person would I be if I didn't based my sprite off of Celes? (an original person? heh)

I've been making a game with RPGM2K. Thing is, I have seen few to none sprites for mythic creatures, of a size to be used in a game format as MAIN characters (animateable), so I've been making my own. I think of it as filling a hole in the market. Anyway I've been very busy getting just the basic "walking animation" sprite sheets done for all the nonhumans-most of the cast-but I did make a brown griffin sprite that can be used for me. This is just the walking set; more poses as I have time.

Edit: btw does anyone remember where that full sprite sheet for CT is? I decided I will do cameos for those whose sprites can be used in the game. YES IT'S MORE THAN JUST HIM. I just remember his already exist. And does Spok have/can have made a sheet for him now as a cat?

Yeah this is me for now... but I change my avatar every month. Who knows what I'll be in January. This is the original sprite sheet for a character of mine (Balen Frey). I love this guy.

These sprites courtesy of my sister, AJ the Third. Updated sprites have been made, but I'm too lazy to post a new file.

Dude, you did not make that sheet. It's a minor edit of mine. Which in it's self is a minor edit of square-enix and sky warrior bob's sprites. You can tell for two main reasons.

1. The two 'dark attack' poses I edited are on there.
2. The sprites are aranged in exactly the same way on your sheet as mine.

Dude, asking for credit when you don't even give any to the creators of the sprites in the first place seems pritty hipocritical if you ask me. You should of asked me first to use my sheet, hells I would of been happy if you at least gave me (not forgeting SWB and square) some credit damn it :mad:

Well, not the top left one. That one is Meister's, which is the base sprite I used to make the others. No need to give me credit or ask my permission to use 'em. I think Thaumaturge or Meister would be better.

PM me opinions on these, my first sprites. They're based on myself, duh. I like the finger-poke attack. EDIT: Many more sprites, complete with my robe and _mike in his hobo jacket. Edit Again: This is it for these sheets. They are complete. They have been for a while, but I'm just getting around to posting them now.

Edit Yet Again: I removed the Mike sprites. There was nothing there that isn't here. In fact, please use this sheet right here that I'm linking to for your phil_mike spriting needs. My old sprites will stay here, just in case someone hates my newer, better sprites and wants to keep using these here. I'm not gonna stop you, I'd just like to look less like BB.

With the help of my super-amazing friends, I have updated my 16-bit spritesheet. Tremble at the few bonus poses and the updated sword!

My brother Mammothtank was nice enough to edit these sprites for me. They're based on Bartz sprites from The Shyguy Kingdom.

Ok so this was the best I could do for my own sprite sheet. If anyone better at this would like to touch it up (hint hint) please feel free to do so.

Actually, the weakest is Michael, since he's a healer and hasn't done anything, really. But don't worry. There's plenty to kill next mission. But for now, you can just do some actual roleplaying stuff...

Here are sprites for me in space and for my other online name, monkey_puma. Also, I've updated the last set of sprites for the last tme, so you can go look at them again and see me *dun dun daa* sitting!

EDIT: Just like my first post, I've removed something. You don't need the Spaceman Phil sprites that were here, because there are more complete Spaceman Phil sprites here, farther on in the thread, like page eleven farther on. Sorry about how rambling that link is, but I must make it big so that folks are less likely to miss it. If I just put "Find them here, " then I know people would miss it.

All in all, I think it came out pretty good, consitering this was my first time editing sprites on MS Paint (though I have had a lot of practice thanks to many years of Mario Paint). I though the shotgun was a nice touch as well (especially using it as a melee weapon).

I'll probably update him into 16 bits in the eventuality (i.e. when I feel like it (that is to say, probably in a year or so (not that you care (not to assume that you would not care)))).
I know... the excessive use of parenteses is not funny... Nonetheless - meh.

At last! The Spirit Sprites are complete!
 

I have finally finished the sprite. Mad props to Stephanos, without him this sprite work would have been impossible, although these are just preliminary sprites I still hope that they may get used (just ask first.) Also if anyone has anything they could do with it please let me know. Also if someone could make all the sprites as big as the one in the corner that would be awesome.

This is the sum total of the work I've done so far... in my free time yesterday. And it made me realize something, I'd kill for a program better than paint. But since I have no connections or moneys, I'm stuck. This is the culmination of my inexperience with spriting, my crappy program, and, of course, my lack of free time. Enjoy and make any sugestions you can. More coming when I get the time.

EDIT: Yeah, they're small but that can't be helped because of lack of a useful resizing tool.

EDIT II: Never mind, can't find the one I thought it was so I guess it was this one. Must not have saved the other positions... -_-

EDIT III: Hey, just found the other positions. More shalt come soon though...

But you do know that the whole purpose of this thread is to make all the sprites freely available so people don't have to ask for them when they want to feature another member in a forum comic? If you don't want people using your sprites without asking, post them somewhere else. Also, do us all a favour and tone down the aggressiveness. No one's impressed.

After many frustrations with custom-sprite attempts, I decided to just say "to hell with it" and go with this.

Didn't stop me from putting my full effort into it, though. ^_^

Now to make the sheets for the remainder of my characters, and then I can go back into comic-making! Go me!

Well i'll post a sprite sheet its a simple edit of FF3 summoner changed into a tonberry. Oh, and yes tonberrys do have tails.

Just a Red Mage sprite I fooled around with.

Notice the very changes. Like instead of a plume hat he has a top hat, instead of hands theres gloves, and last but not least the added staff with a die on top. I named the staff, "Almighty Staff of Twinkin'." I can just say do whatever you want with it. Don't tell me, I already know its not a sheet.

Here is a simple sprite sheet featuring me, Omnishadow.
Feel free to use it as you wish, and if someone does more complex moves for it dont hesitate to send it to me :p

Free for usage on the NP member comics/et cetera. I could also make a non-subpixelated version, although it probably wouldn't work well with the staff (Nightstorm) and the daggers.

Speaking of which, the subpixelation you see there was done by individual mouse clicks. It was a lot of work.

I may post more in the future; I have a forward facing sprite now, but I'm going to wait until I make some walking ones too.

EDIT: Remembered to add the daggers and belt to all sprites. A-whoops.

EDIT: Updated. Added Nightstorm to all sprites, finished the toward-walking sprites, and put Nightstorm and the knives in the sheet. I pity people who try to make their own toward-facing sprites.

EDIT: And it gets bigger. Added in my list of spells and skills as promised, along with the facing-away sprites that weren't nearly as hellish as I'd expected. In case you should wonder, the belt doesn't go in back because it's more of a half-belt, attached to the tunic at the hips.

EDIT: Made it bigger, rearranged it, added two new custom sprites. More to come.

EDIT: I've made a .doc list of just what those words in my spritesheet refer to. It's attached to the post.

Finally, I got around to making this. Here's an updated sheet with both my and Mike's sprites. Plus, you get the never-before-seen Red Mage Mike sprites!

I'll probably keep working on this sheet, but it'll be a while before I post another update.

Sweet holy jeebus, Seiken Densetsu 3 has A LOT OF FREAKING SPRITES!! I doubt this covers even half of Hawkeye's sprites... Yes, I screen-capped all of those. Couldn't find a site that had a full sheet... Either way, even though I like making my own sprites, recolors will always have a place in my comic heart.

I suck. I don't deny it. but RMB asked me to post a reference sprite to use for Nikose, and this is the best one I could toss together.

EDIT: Mammothtank put together a sprite sheet for me. He rocks. all hail Mammothtank!

And yes, it's just me fusing a Black Mage's body to a White Mage's Hood, then touching up the sprite a bit so it'd look less... well, edgy. I also purposefully avoided showing the lower-half of the face to avoid confusion between me and a certain other robe-wearing guy with an unmasked lower... face.

Later on, expect to see more "faces" of me... including an actual face, if I feel like it.

EDIT: Okay, I edited MT's original sprite sheet to make it look accurate to my character. I gave him sleeves, made his pants longer, removed the bandana, and gave him the long hair. That hair took a long time to edit but I did the best I can.

Apparently I never posted my BlackMageGirl! spritesheet in here. Dopey, dopey me. Well, here it is, and I'm reposting her kitsune mode sheet while I'm at it.

Okay, so in lieu of actually being creative and making a comic, I've tweaked my sprite sheet somewhat (to more accurately reflect my hairline). I've also added a few I cobbled together for my last comic. I'll probably add a few more later.

okay, I've made upgrades to mine because people complained that the old ones were monocolor and boring or something along those lines.
these ones are completely custom
if you want them at half this size you just need to mess with the eyes. I suggest making the bottom half of the eyes the eye color, in this case blue, and the top half the off white thing. fdfdfd if I recall correctly.
