I'm also thinking I'll give Mafia GO's the ability to post in that forum as well, while their game is running.

In the meantime, though, I recommend using a different browser than the one you usually do for mafia, and remain logged in on that browser. (Like, if you use Chrome, use Firefox for mafia and vice versa)

In other news, I'm going to go back on my word a teensy bit and go ahead and close signups, as I just finished sending out all the role PMs to the mafia accounts.

I'll send out credentials to them and begin the thread on Friday, as stated previously, though.

I actually popped in to suggest this myself.
That way you can remain browsing as you would normally in your daily browser of choice and still be able to pop over and play the game without interrupting whatever you may or may not be doing.

Hopefully it is working as well for you all.
 

So, this game is totally not working for me. Like, somehow there are a bajillion posts that I haven't read, but so few people actually active, and I still cannot distinguish one person from another. And I have to look at the list whenever I want to know who's even in the game to worry about.

Like, I can't keep track of anything, to the point where I'm not even interested in the game anymore, really. I don't have any real anchor in my mind for anything, and as such, the game has no substance to me. I just can't get into it.

I really couldn't help but start guessing at people's identities. I suck at this.

I've heard that at least a few people have gone out of their way to act different than usual (not counting the obvious Hugh and Reginald), and I know some people at least have the idea of trying to impersonate someone else, so your guesses may well be totally wrong. I've been guessing a lot, myself, and am reasonably sure I have at least two identities nailed down. But that's okay. It's all in good fun so long as you don't start saying who's who.

rpg, I don't know what to tell you. Ever since more and more people assigned avatars to their posts there's only been a small number people I have difficulty thinking about, and of those, only one's been particularly active.

"I'm not even interested" = "I'm too lazy to apply effort."
 

tbh he's been complaining about it from the git-go so I'm really more surprised that he even signed up for it if he was hell-bent on hating it to begin with.

I wasn't hell-bent against it, I was just pointing out things that I thought could be a problem. As it turns out, completely different things are problems. I thought the point of the beta test was to get feedback and opinions, not tell people they're lazy for encountering problems.

The point of beta testing is to get feedback and opinions.

I'm calling you lazy for seemingly being unwilling to actually work through problems instead of just throwing your arms up in defeat, not for encountering problems.
