I'm probably gonna get my ass kicked by a bunch of the women on this board, but I'm just so sick of so many other chicks pulling this double-standard, hypocritical bullshit and then acting like men are just scum.

This thread is getting kind of long, but I want to put in my two cents.

As the third girl to post on this thread, I think my opinions fall somewhere between LittleWhiteMage's and Ren's. A perfect gentlemen prince charming would get annoying after a while, and an asshole will always be an asshole. To that end, I think everyone should realize that people are different, and you really just have to find the person that suits you best. It might take a while, but following a set of rules on what to do won't speed things up. Because what some girls may like in guys, other girls detest. I know its cliche, but just being yourself will attract a girl that is right for you. Not ALL girls are like Ren described. Most of them, yes, but not all.

Heh, you know what I mean by in thought. You can stray once in a while...but day in, day out, thinking nothing 'cept sex...that's way over line.

You can also be perverted in a respectful way. See them as sexy, but not as being beings that are symbolizing sex.

Ren-I can't do that, it's against my nature. And if each one is like that then I'll eat my shoe, I don't think I could stand being with someone like that. That type will easily cheat on me. I will admit that some of the things you said apply to all girls, and that all of it describes some girls to some degree, but not that all of it applies to all girls. I know some that just aren't (totally) like that. Though...maybe I'm just deluding myself because of the 'nice' guy state of mind.

Edit: Also, they are right. Nice rack indeed. I can say that because...well, it's true.

I don't think I will ever be able to settle down with anyone, because
1. It's not in my nature to do so
2. I'm utterly repulsive by modern standards and taboos

What i've gathered from this thread so far is that the best way to mack with the chicks is to first let yourself register in their heads, then make yourself register in their heads as someone they woud like, then you can begin the process.

Your mileage may vary of course, given that women are all different (LWM, Ren, VD... uh... Video Drone) in outlook and outward looks.

Therefore, the best way would theoretically be to find a chance to hang around her, then ingratiate yourself with her (liking the same things she likes), then slowly expressing your interest when the time is ripe.

EDIT: When I say "macking with the chicks" I actually mean "having a friendly relationship with them, usually not at the level of steadies, but still close". My face has a bad habit of getting my ass in trouble and apparently it's spread to my fingers.

well first off ren i can also say nice rack.... ha which i do think that was readily apparent. Secondly don't hurt yourself lol kdding although i must say all of your conclusions fellas, they are wrong and right in their own right... i have resigned myself to the fact that being the nice guy won't work untill i am like 30 or something when most women get desperate to find someone permenatly. Just an observation... Being a jerk will get you mostly what you want but make it a pain in the ass. All in all no i will not be a jerk and all you have to do is just go out there and keep being you.

So all in all LWM and REN and VD (heh) ne way all of your oppinions are the affirmation of everything i already knew but you have fortified my belief in women will always be the ever evolving, mind numbing, soul twisting candy that you just cannot get enought of.
