I have returned again with another manipulation

Yep, my vacation from nuklearpower forums are sorta maybe kinda over. i'll try to be here more often..so without further ado!

my latest creation. I call it Big Bad Voodoo

the background stock is from who knows where i collected long ago. The neato lookin guy is me. Finally, the textures there are from using pictures of cracked/chipped cement with various layer effects and opacity.

I told my friend if we ever play a modern style set D&D game that is what my hexblade would look like.

Am I the only one who thought of Abe Lincoln?

Meister 05-14-2005 12:58 PM

More like Victorian London goth Abe Lincoln. I like. A lot, in fact.

Demon with a Glass Hand 05-14-2005 01:45 PM

I was thinking more along the lines of Jack the Ripper.

I also like it very much. How long did it take you to create that image?

Skweeb, your art intrigues me and I wish to see more.

Grandmaster_Skweeb 05-14-2005 04:47 PM

why thank you ever'body.

and demon, to answer your question: it took me roughly two to three hours to make that. i do my best work when i'm pretty tired, so that was finished at about 1:30am.

I'm currently working on a few other pictures based off of similar stocks. they shall be posted pretty soon.

Abe Lincoln Meets Bill Sykes (sp?), and Frankenstein?

number two, i was a little less tired so the quality isn't quite what i'd like. Good news though is I have two more stocks in the series to work with ^_^

Definitely more Jack The Ripper-like. Though maybe now with a bit of Emperor Palpatine thrown in there. Your photography stuff continues to amaze and astound.

Lockeownzj00 05-19-2005 09:57 PM

I'm very much liking. I can see this as a cover for a book.

Meister 05-20-2005 03:51 AM

Or a CD. And yep, definitely Jack the Ripper now.
