I know I'm being buggy now, so this is the last time I'm gonna ask to get a straight answer:

Is it way too late to join now that the signup thread has been closed and the reinforcements have come? Or can you allow an extra character into the fray during this transition period? Or will I need to voluntarily make a character only to get flamed at in the near future for doing something not quite right?

And Rhiya, unfortunately, only SS can give you a straight answer (don't know why he hasn't answered yet). I, personally, wouldn't make a character sheet until SS says so, unless you are really inspired (or have a really good idea, that might be able to sway the decision more) or something. ^^;; I dunno. I'm just talking now.

I've already thought up of a character, but I'm not sure if we're allowed to use EU species providing the character has a good reason to be existent. If EU species are not allowed, then I've got another character cooking in my mind.

But yes, I am waiting on SS to give me a straight answer.

...I'd guess that EU species would be allowed just so long as those species were in contact with the republic and not extinct during the period around the beginning of the clone wars.

Umm... was a Squib extinct by then? I believe they worked for the republic at some time... just not sure when...

They don't need to work with the Jedi, and in the vastness of the universe SS could simply handwave and say, "It is so, bitch."

Of course, SS has to say something.

i didn't say they had to work with the Jedi, I said that they worked as spies and scavengers for the Republic, which is completely different :)

Of course, if that doesn't work, then my character could always come from an escape pod floating near some ship debris near the outskirts of the known universe.
