32XX - Stage 1.1
OOC: We need some organization here...
Almost all of the Maverick robots were outside of the Outpost, trying to gun down the Reploid guards on the outpost walls and windows, shooting at them. The guards were winning. Every half minute, the left turret's energy cannon get a good charge, then shots at the crowd of robots, destroying a small area of them. On the little space that is outside of the turret, (SS's guy) had been gaurding the turret from any attacks for a while, but a couple of explosives had dented his shields. Schawde, at the moment, was barely surviving gun fire from many robots, him being almost dead. Pelc was somewhere in the battlefield, killing robots or fighting Gutx and/or Vile. Shade was running along with Uriel, right above his head, not making a sound. |
ooc-A fire reploid could be more sensitive to the cold. I guess.
"Ready," Schadwe stated, pointing towards the enemy, "Fire!" A short nod of acknowledgement and a group of grenades were launched. Every reploid there backed up as the explosion ripped apart robots from their parts. Schadwe breathed heavily, taking this moment to rest and repair some of the damage. He didn't have long, it was only half a minute that the robots resumed their assault. "Sir, we should retreat." "No..." He knew what they were after now, if they had been merely going for the ruins they wouldn't be making this assault on the main installation. "Reload and fire. We have to wait for reinforcements!" He stood up, raising his gun and firing as he talked. "There's way too many of them for this to be anything of little importance. This is big...and we can't let them have what they want." "Ready...fire!" On and on the cycle went, fight, rest, fight and rest. Luckily he had yet to see one of the enemy hunters. |
OOC: I am just the element of fire, my circuts can still freeze.
Pelc looked around. Five visible Maverick gaurds, probably more behind that mountain over there. Ambush was the first thing that came into his head. He grabbed his sword and charged it up. Then he did and speed dash with his sword horizontal in front of him, slashing the five gaurds, and went behind the mountain. No one. He turned around and was face to cannon of a gaurd. I grinned and slashed him. Three more jumped off a cliff above me. I just fired my arm cannon off to catch them off gaurd, then stabbed them with the sword. Why are they in such small numbers? Ten more came around the corner. I charged my sword again and used a flame shockwave to take them. Another five came around and used there cannon to try to take me down. I dashed again and my shockwave took care of them. After that I looked around. Silence They used these guys as bait to lure me to there base, and there planed worked, well, almost. Pelc walked off to where the gaurds were coming from, waiting for some kind of suprise attack. |
Mephitis paced up and down the room. He was worried about Freija's safety. A warzone is no place for a healer like that.
Mephitis sat down on a small crate. |
OOC: The entire Outpost isn't that big... And Alien, what's with the first person writing, then some thrid person?
Pelc walked into an empty field, snow thrown everyone. A large circle on the ground was free of snow, that was where the chopper must've landed, but it had left by now. However, a slower robot was still catching up, when it spotted Pelc. It shot a rocket out at Pelc, hitting the area next to him. He was thrown aside, but not injured much. Unfortunately, the explosion caused an avalanche, burying Pelc. The platform Schawde was on, along with several guard Reploids, was destroyed by a rocket from Vile. Schawde was blown inside of the building, the guards were scattered. Robots began to pour into the new hole. The Resistance forces there were quickly overpowered, and retreated further down the hall, into the next room. OOC: Crappy map for reference |
Vile had been hunkered down behind debris, moving and shooting guards off the wall with precision when he could, but the battle was looking to be leaning towards the resistance. If he could take down that second tower soon, they might be able to salvage this battle, but it would still be close. He didn't want to use any more missles since this was his last salvo, but luckily the cold had quickly cooled his cannon and a second charge was almost complete. It would take a careful shot at the tower gun to take it, but if he made it the Maverick troops might be able to get inside, and with the chaos that would create, the Maverick Reploids might be able to get to their target and get her out since her guards might hopefully be distracted. His gun finally charged, and he turned the corner and kneeled, activating his targeting sensors and giving them time to carefully lock on and plot the shot, then he fired, a beam of energy blazing out of the gun straight towards the tower.
|
Hearing the explosion, Mephitis grabbed Freija by the wrist.
"We must get out of here! They've breached the walls!" Mephitis picked Freija up and ran towards the exit. |
OOC: Sorry about the First-Person, Third Person change, it's a bad habit. I'll try to restrain it.
Pelc lay in the avalanche waiting for the gaurd to become caught off gaurd for a strike, although he could not move as fast as he could because of the blast, he could still easily take out him. The gaurd turned his head, and as soon as that happened, Pelc struck. One slash and he was through. Pelc looked at the scratch on his leg, assumed it was not serious, and venturing on, this time, even more careful. He knew he was getting closer, because he could see smoke in the distance, and the strikes from gaurds were getting closer and closer together. |
ooc-I do that 1st then 3rd person stuff too...
Sparks were coming out of Schadwe as he got up, his eyes turning into a blood red. "You all will suffer and die..." This...is it. With a loud battlecry he charged ahead, knowing full well he couldn't survive. In the end all my words, all my actions, everything I've said or done mean nothing...except maybe this. His movements were even faster than what he had shown earlier today, the damage seemed to no longer have any effect. The robots couldn't seem to hit him, he skillfully dodged almost every attack. Even the few non energy attacks seemed to pass through him, and while he disappeared now again he always came back, with a demented laugh as he resumed his charge each time. Of course, it would probably help to understand what was happening if you saw the other Schadwe, crouched behind some rubble as he took his shots from afar and out of sight. I'm not stupid...and this 'distraction' buys more time than a silly suicidal charge would do. |
Vile's energy shot was about to hit and destroy the remaining turret tower, when Lock jumped infront of it. Quickly raising his arm shields and locking them together, Lock prepared himself for the blast. The beam pushed Lock back into the wall, but it slowly was absorbed into the shield, finishing the charge of Lock's gatling gun.
