OOC: I made it so Lock and Schawde are already out, and Shade will be missing for a while

Mephitis looked out the window for the last time and announced, "If Shade doesn't make it out in ten minutes, we're leaving. It seems like we've caught the attention of some land troops."

Gutx finally smashed through the door to the command center. The troops Vile had pulled aside rushed in and shot anything that moved, then shot it agains until it stopped moving. Vile and Gutx walked in, and ignored the smoking bodies of command robots and went right to the computers. Vile attached a device to the main console and pressed a button. Soon all the data in the computers was being sort in the device, then sent to a memory core in the invasion craft. When they returned to base, the core would be dumped and examined for useful information. After the device confirmed that all data was removed, Vile accesed the main computer and quickly hacked access into the main generator. He hacked through the failsafes, and instrusted the generator to incrase output to critical mass, basically ordering a self destruct. Then he opened all doors in the base, instructed them to stay open, shut down the teleporters, then pulled his pistol and shot the console, destorying it and the primary way to access the computer. Vile then turned to Gutx and said, "I think it's time we take our leave. In approximatly 10 minutes, this base won't be here anymore, and I don't want to be inside when that happens."

The computers secrutiy system was to self destruct when hacked if certain commands were given. Whenever the retreat was ordered, those instructions were given. As the Mavericks were leaving the room, the computer said one last thing before it's explosion. "Thank you for hacking the 049328 Resistance computer system, please have a nice day." Then it overloaded, blowing up the entire base.

OOC: Well, that's going to leave a mark...

As Vile, Gutx, and the Maverick robots retreated from the control room and the base, Vile heard one last thing, before a massive explosive wave struck him, totally overloading his systems and hurling him from the base, barely in one piece. He struck the ground, and lost the battle to keep his emergency overrides from shutting him down. His emergency repair systems kicked in, barely keeping him going and repairing him back to barely functional status, but keeping him unconscious during the repair process.

(OOC would the explosion be enough to damage the ship they are in, or would we just see it happen?)

OOC: The ship would be shaken

Freija was pacing about the cabin, suddenly the ship pitched forward, knocking Freija off of her feet. The ship steadied out and Freija looked up at the screen, which was showing what was going on outside at the moment. The base had blown up, leaving little hope for salvaging anything.

Pelc put his hands on the counter to stabilize himself, while looking in shock at the explosion.
