this is a new thing to me so correct me if i make a mistake. i am setting the scenario in a dark Abyse located in a tower (cliche'). we dont know where we are going so, you dont have to know your way around. i am asking for 5 more people, with jobs that will be custom. also, first come, first serve. if someone has posted before you for the job you want, then you will have to choose another (or cancel your signup. im not unreasonable).

the jobs are as follows:
1) Sorcerer (me)
2) Knight
3) Cleric
4) Seer
5) Dragoon
6) Scout

also post the name you will be using. if you want more than one job or dont mind which you are, make an order of preference. I will enjoy adventuring with you guys.

you may detail your appearance and what your classes features are (sticking within reason). you cannot give your class something that they would not have. eg. a Sorcerer who can wield an Axe and cast Curative Magic. the example is what you should not do. an example of what you can do: a Scout who can telepathically see any monsters within radius and has high speed, though telepathy is limited to that ability.

Alright, time to throw in a character sheet. And if you can't tell, I'm making the Knight to be first character in a brawl, so he's a fighter.

Name: Thomas Allgood
Job: Knight
Appearance: Stands 6'2", with shaggy blonde hair and piercing blue eyes. He wears a suit of silver armor, but no helmet. A large scar trails across his face, and a silk headband keeps his hair out of his eyes.
Weapons: A silver longsword, a shield, and a large zwiehander that's strapped to his back most of the time.
Class Features:
Thick Skin- Though years of training with melee weapons, and getting hit with melee weapons, the Knight's skin has become thicker, and as such, can take a hit better than anyone else in the group.
Elite Swordsmanship- Very well taught in the ways of the steel. If it has a blade on it, he can kill you with it.
Magical Resistance- Nothing annoys a Knight more than a wizard that can attack him from a distance. So, through some unorthodox training, the Knight can learn the better withstand a magical barrage. He's not immune, but at least it levels the playing field a bit.

Here's my character sheet. I'm modeling him after the cleric class with a few differences.

Name: Aramust
Job: Cleric
Appearance: He has light stature, with a cloak covering most of his body. His eyes are black and are usually glaring. He is wearing eloquent chainmail armor.
Weapons: Heavy crossbow, longsword.
Class Features
Spellcasting: After studying dutifully for years the cleric has gained numerous spells. He can cast cure and inflict spells, as well as some protective spells.
Mage Armor: Because of numerous years studying protective spells and armors, the cleric has gained a weaker force armor.

you may modify a job, but it will have to be in a similar guidline to a free class. for example, if you wanted to change the Scout to a Ranger type, then its fine, but you cannot change it to a magic caster.

if you want to change Seer to elementalist, its fine, or possibly some other Job. just dont be too unreasonable ok?

ps, the Dragoon type can be changed to Summoner and/or Beastmaster only

Name: Ayden Flametongue
Job: Dragoon
Appearance: Standing at 6'4", he towers over most. Ayden is tall and lanky, although he does have quite a bit of muscle to wield his lance. His armor is shiny blue-violet, and looks as if matched to his wyvern.
Weapon: A shining steel lance that stretches 6 feet. The blade itself takes up 1 foot of that.
Abilities:
Jump- Ayden jumps rediculously high to land a powerful lance attack. He can also use this for mobility.
Summon Dragon- Summons his dragon familiar, Lorian.
Summon Wyrm- Summons his wyrm familiar, Takal.
Summon Wyvern- Summons his wyvern familiar, Nanaki
Flamebreath- Ayden can use his spirit to breath potent flames, but only when he has no familiar out.
Charm Dragonkin- Ayden can charm an enemy dragon, wyrm, or wyvern under his control temporarily.
Magic Resistance- Ayden (and his familiars) have a high resistance to magic.

Dragon:
Name: Lorian
Appearance: Imagine the standard dragon of English mythology, only 8 feet tall when standing and 4 feet tall when on all fours, with wings too small to grant flight. Lorian has fiery red scales, and dark black eyes.
Weapons:
Claws- All four of them. Very sharp, very strong.
Teeth- Two rows of them. Again, very sharp and very strong.
Fire breathing- Just like Ayden's Flamebreath, only with greater range and potency.
Additional attributes of notice- High land mobility, no flight, low water mobility. Ayden can ride Lorian as he would a horse familiar.

Wyrm:
Name: Takal
Appearance: Takal is a sea snake, 10 feet long from head to tail. Imagine the FFXI Leviathan, only with dark blue scales.
Weapons:
Thunder magic- Strong thunder spells, usually shot out by one of the many fins.
Water magic- Basic water manipulation.
Teeth- One row of them. Not as strong or sharp as Lorian, but still packing a punch.
Additional attributes of notice- High water mobility, low land mobility, low flight ability. Ayden can ride Takal as he would a dolphin/sea snake familiar.

Wyvern:
Name: Nanaki
Appearance: Much like Lorian, only small but with larger wings. From head to tail Nanaki is only 6 feet long, but has a wingspan of 8 feet.
Weapons:
Thunder magic- Mediocre thunder spells, usually shot from the mouth.
Wind magic- Strong wind magic, usually used to increase flight prowess
Fire breathing- Strong fire breath, but very low accuracy. The wind holding Nanaki can easily shift its direction.
Claws/Teeth- Similar to Lorian, only much weaker.
Additional attributes of notice- Low land mobility, low water mobility, high flight ability. Ayden can ride Nanaki as he would a large bird familiar.

Job: Sorcerer
Appearance: Deep sunk eyes and thick eyebrows tend to give him a mean look. the scar over his left eye dosent help much. he is lanky with scruffy hair. his right palm glows black and emitts a dark cloud stream every time he moves it. he also seems to have a large hump on his back but no-one ever notices it. maybe he is hiding something under that robe...
Weapons: a short mace belted to his side. there is also a knife that emitts the same cloud that his hand produces, that he uses for incantations. he also has a long staff with one end with an orb on it that changes colour and the other side has a connection for his halberd blade (he cannot use normal metal and cast a spell at the same time).
Armour: his armour is baisically a black robe with a hood connected and a necklace with a mysterious rare metal.
History: he went insane once and became a bringer of death to all who stood in his path. but when he felt the Tides of Destiny calling him, he snapped out of his insanity and moved as a vagabond. He has tried to remember what his past was like before the insanity. he journeys to redeem himself...
Magic: his speciallity is Dark magic and Elemental magic, but he can use any spell designed for harming bar one, the APOCALYPSE spell. Rumour has it that the last known person to know the spell was a nameless mage. nobody knows if he died, but he disapeared about a year ago...


oh, and you can get a Dragon, Wyrm or Wyvern familiar (all three but only one out at a time).

Sure, let me give this a shot... (Haven't played a rouge in a while...)

Name: Hynd Shortstride
Job: Scout
Appearance: As a halfling, Hynd is only 3'5" and fairly thin, one would guess with knowledge of how much a halfling's skeletal stucture weighs, around 78 lbs. His hair is short and red, and sitcks out in every direciton. His eyes are bright green. He is fairly handsome, and wears a tight black shirt that holds several needles and throwing knives in the holsters and a black scarf strung on to the collar and stapled together. His pants are also black and fairly tight, with several loops that hold a dagger, several small black containers with fuses, a spark-maker (very similar to a lighter), a scroll with a dark blue knob on the end, and a few others that hook onto a set of several small half-spheres with holes in them. He also as a few small vials with various liquids in them. The vials are made from a strengthened glass, and thusly are shatterproof. His boots are made from a kind of suede leather designed to absorb light but still be comfortable.
Weapons: Hynd's throwing weapons are needles, knives and smoke bombs, all halfling sized. His only melee weapon is a dagger that he stole off of a bard who happened to brag about how it was extremely lucky a bit too much for his taste. The bard was right though. The knife has a tendancy to make its owner unnaturally lucky. Hynd had to cartwheel through a shower of burning beer to snag it (even he doesn't know quite how it happened), and thusly had to start regrowing a bit of his hair. It also manages to find chinks in armor, a very useful attribute for the assassin. The dagger has an ornate inlay of lady luck on the blade, something that kept Hynd entertained every night until the candles went out for quite some time (take that how you want, just don't yell at me). He also has a few sticks of an alchemal component that reacts to heat by producing a very loud bang and an equally bright light. He also has a few small, magically enchanted semi-shperes that pop out a large spike when stepped on, appfix themselves to the floor, and also have small extending parts that come off the blade. He typically has been forced to use them when facing a particularly mean bunch of opponents for immobilization. The vials he has are as follows: invisibility, levitation, dodging (x2), spiderclimbing and complete cure.
Armor: "The only armor a rouge like me needs," says Hynd, "Is the wind on his back and the clothing on his chest." His weapons have saved him from certain death a few times, after he had attained his dagger.
Class Features:
Lucky Bastard: A scout is profusely lucky, due to their innate knowledge of what to expect, some say. Scouts are amazingly alert, and as such can dodge an attack, be it a spell, arrow or weapon, coming at them with extra skill, even if they are unaware of it. This often results in the scout not being damaged at all, hence the class feature's name.
Trapfinder: A scout is the best at finding traps on anything out of anyone, probably from having set so many themselves. They are also excellent at dismantling them.
Survivor: A scout can hide, resist poisons, jump, climb or all-out survive better than the rest of the group. They are also excellent at dealing with people because of their personalities.
Racial features:
Size: Due to a halfling's unnaturally small size, they are harder to hit, can fit into small places easier, and weight less.
Sneaky: A halfling is naturally good at sneaking around, stabbing people in the back, and swiping their spare change or items. Often, this happens without the victim's knowledge.
Personality/History: Hynd came from a family of master thieves dedicated to stealing lost relics. He began his journey the day he turned eighteen and becae an adult. His early life was mostly training and parties, with the occasional girl thrown in. As such, he is happy-go-lucky and has a sense of humor that most find funny, some find annoying, and still others find to be the bane of their existance. He has often stolen something valuable that a teamate needed before a battle, causing them to get brutally killed or maimed. That is why he carries a curing potion. While he is playful at heart, he has no qualms about killing people, which is a strange mix...
