How gay are they? you decide?!

I say the American version of the show (like all other cartoons on Kids WB) are really retarded. The games themselves arn't all that bad. I've played a few of the older and newer ones. There is no real plot, but there is some cool plotless fighting!

Pokemon aren't gay; they're evil. Despite what schoolyard arguments teach you, the two are not the same. Pokemon taught me a lot, like the dangers of fanaticism (so much wasted money). As to the 4kids version being terrible, that's just how 4kids is.

has anyone seen one peice the guns are replaced with waterguns and not even the huge powerhouse ones.

Please don't say that. Pokèmon is NOT gay. It in no way promotes homsexual behavior, nor can it even have a sexual preference in the first place. And don't say you meant stupid. Slang is bad, and if you're not going to say what you mean, then you shouldn't say anything at all.

Well, being a devoted pokemon fan, i really can't say anything bad about the games, I loved Yellow, and Crystal but when it got into Hooen, the game went down the drain. Yes i do look at hentai and i almost always find the gay crappy ones with ash and brock (i'm not gay!). Aargh! Oh well just leave pokemon alone or else!

Pokemon was good in its own time. Sure it gives anime a bad name now a days cause that all most people are exposed to is the "little kiddy edited stuff".

the companys really need to edit less so they can show the "good side" of anime. we see enough blood and guts on CSI or other detective shows liek that they could show the blood and violence in say Naruto.

so ill just say pokemon has its limitations.

I was so into Pokemon in grade 7, 8, and 9! I watched the earlier show, which actually wasn't too bad. I grew out of it, but I can only assume the newer stuff gets crappier and crappier.

As for the games, Pokemon Yellow was amazing, just from an RPG standpoint. I own Red and Blue, but they were not as good.

Other than that...I have a full mint condition set of the FIRST set of Pokemon Cards in my closet.

I think it has outlived it time. By my way of thought, the entire thing should of ended with pokemon yellow, and not drag it out and over market it. Heck, in japan the pokemon thing is so popular that there is an pokemon amusement park, thats right, pokemon amusement park.

Blood and gore does not good entertainment make.

May I present the movies House of the Dead and Alone in the Dark.

And, come on folks, let's be honest here: Pokemon is a children's show. Of course we aren't going to like it, it's not aimed at our age group. And, from what I can see, it's one of the better kid shows out there. If I had kids, I rather see them watching Pokemon than stuff like the Boobahs. And so, as a kids show, it's suppose to be bright, cheerful, and gore-less. As much as you want to see it, the average 10 year does not want to see Pikachu get disemboled in bloody detail. If you want gore, there a plenty of other animes that will satisfy your gore fix. Judge a show designed for children on the fact it is not violent or gory enough for your tastes is just makes not sense whatsoever.
