Too bad, they'll have to stay dead, then.

EDIT: What is the force distribution? Sorry if I jumped in on the side of Rab without looking, they looked like they were having their asses handed to them by the Magitek.

IHateMakingNames 12-28-2003 11:06 PM

In FF terms, it's Geomancer, not Elementalist... Or a dancer in Mog's case...

Edit: I think that's the point... If the creator says that one side is losing, they are losing...

Dante 12-28-2003 11:10 PM

Ah , then you can just divert Dante's attention from the rest of the battle. Or occupy him with the duel with the master. Master black magi are not to be played with.

IHateMakingNames 12-28-2003 11:12 PM

So, in your opinion, a normal mage is worth a dozen fighters? (I'm refering to your 'your mage kill many pikemen', and making a wierd little ratio out of it)

Darth SS 12-28-2003 11:14 PM

Just on a side note, someone's eventually going to have to teach Arc to fight better.

Right now he's okay I guess, but still. (Please don't kill me IHMN)

LilWhiteMage 12-28-2003 11:15 PM

Yeah, don't kill him... I haven't gotten the chance to see him and beat the crap out of him mehself *evil snicker*

Mr. Viewtiful 12-28-2003 11:15 PM

Correct me if I'm wrong, but Geomancer is an Elementalist with a different name. Square should be a little more consistant with their class names...

Thanks for the ideas, but I'm already thinking up something. I'll PM Ecurt for the OK (when I'm ready) before I post a profile, to save space.

Around there... the younger mages need time to properly cast the spell, the high-powered ones can throw off weak spells almost at will and with little cost to their own stamina, though they still need to concentrate for the really powerful ones, like the earth shield thing.

That said, once he's out of mana or unable to concentrate he's meat.

Truce 12-28-2003 11:17 PM

Celes, you're fine. Jump in once you've gotten a background and you feel like it.

Alan, tell me your proficiency, and what a Psylord is. I have no clue, and if he's super-powered like he sounds (I haven't yet had a chance to check out the other thread, nor respond to any pms-sorry Dante, and I will) you better have a good reason.

IHMN-You're right, I intended for at least most of you guys to be N'Revat. It's easier to control the flow like I said earlier, besides....that side's going to win or lose once everyone has introduced themselves in this chapter who wants their character to (it's a flip of a coin really, I have two outcomes planned, and however you guys decide to portray yourselves affects my decision).

Mr. V-Monk, Blue Mage, Thief, Noble (Aristrocrat, same thing), Black Mage, Oracle (Unless Alan explains the Psylord, he's Oracle in my mind), Dragoon, White Mage, Engineer, Shaman, and another type of Mage, plus a Light specialist Mage.

IHateMakingNames 12-28-2003 11:17 PM

Wouldn't making several shields, lots of exremetly sharp air blades, and a gaint hole in the ground count as out of mana, or atleast very close?

He does Yin-Yang magic, but he wants a better title I guess... And he has himself completely invisible to everyones sight while enslaving mages minds easily.
