Samoht patted his sword lightly underneath his cloak. He might end up killing someone today after all. It would do the world quite a bit of good, if he would say so himself. Once Raiden left, Samoht looked back at Bismuth.
"One tends to learn things when reading the great Archives of the Archsage. Whether he likes to or not, he becomes educated. And for...personal reasons, I don't like seeing women harassed. Unless they asked for it. But from what I could tell, you did nothing to warrant the molestation, so I stepped in. Besides, it's been quite a while since I killed a man. I had to let some aggression out in one way or another." Samoht could tell that Bismuth was watching his face for some slight amusement, but she wouldn't find any. He wasn't kidding. Samoht looked up into the bright sky, the hot sun beaming down. He cringed a bit as the pure sunlight struck his face. Though he had lived in the sun all his life, his race just generally had a distaste for the sun. "What makes me wonder, is why a young draconic lady such as yourself would be in a backwater place like this? I assume that you're not a resident. And if you are, I apologize, but you could honestly do much better." |
Liana sighed as the white haired pervert approached her, she stepped forward, "Sir, unless you are looking to apologise for your behavior earlier, you might want to forget about trying again." She shook her head and ran a hand through her hair, slightly frustrated that the man would think of approaching her again, "I don't think your 'prized possessions' could take another hit from my boot, could they?" She raised an eyebrow, holding up a paper with the same transmutation circle on it that she had used before.

"Hah," Bismuth smiled a simple smile. No hidden daggers. No sarcasm. Definitely with no hidden meaning. If she had noticed Samoht's reaction with the sun, she made no show of it.
"I am a wanderer and... familiar with this place, but not from this place. I don't tend to stay in one location for more than a few weeks, but I pick things up quickly," Bismuth ran a slender hand through her hair and wrapped the mist of water around her closer. It beaded on a few stray strands of hair like glistening jewels. Her draconic eye seemed to narrow of their own will, as if the dragon within contemplated the dark elf as a small morsel. It was a shrewd gaze, but not demeaning. "I won't, however, ask how you came to wander under the sun. I might need to help this... Raiden. He seems never far from trouble," she added as she turned towards the man in danger of losing his 'family jewels'. No doubt the issue will once again be resolved before she will have to lift a finger, but nevertheless, it would be good to be prepared. She knew that Raiden, though somewhat perverted in his ideas, did mean good, and tried - though somewhat idiotically - to win the women he lusts after. Her human part felt irritation and anger at the groping, but her draconic part said: why bother? you could've killed him long ago. Such human matters are petty, and you don't want to stain yourself by stooping too low. The human part withdrew, grumbling: All right, but if he tries it again, I get to brutally abuse his family jewels, ok? The draconic part sighed and said: Ok fine, but restraint is better... though in HIS case... Bismuth took a couple of casual steps forward, and called out "Raiden? You forgot your swords," she pointed behind her to the tree when Raiden turned. |

He glanced behind to see a pair of swords lying against the tree, then patted himself at the waist to see if Kurama and Genkai were there. They weren't. "Excellent work, Number One Servant! You have proven yourself worthy of honor, and when the world is mine, I shall grant you a country to rule as you see fit! Now come over here, you two!" He beckoned imperiously to the sheahed swords, expecting them to fly over to him. They didn't. "Like I was SAYING, GET OVER HERE!" A bird flying across chose the moment to relieve itself on Raiden's head. "Graaaah! Goddamit! Stupid swords won't fly unless you bathe them in blood... " He stalked over to retrieve them, then tried to flick the bird's doings off his hair in a cool way, but he only succeeded in spreading them further over his head. After he had succeeded in thoroughly embarassing himself in front of everyone, he looked down his nose at Liana. "I must retire to an inn to make sure my looks properly befit a dashing conquerer of my stature. Fight the power, poor slave of the lesbian ninjas! Turn but to me, and I will make you my Number Two Servant and Concubine!" With that, he stomped off, swaggering like a mob boss. |
Liana just stared in the direction where Raiden was marching off, "Uhh..... okay..." She glanced back at Theran then the others around her, "What was all of that about?" She shook her head in confusion, <that man is crazier than I thought.>

Theran had clenched his teeth a bit at being called a faerie by the archon paladin, but, by some amazing stroke of luck, no one seemed to actually pay attention to it. In fact, no one seemed to notice at all between the shock of the man's appearance, irritation over being stopped yet another time in quest for sex, confusion, and their own convesations. All the same, however, Theran decided to make a note of the presence of non-mortals and reinforce his glamour a bit, to be certain that no one else would be seeing through it, causing him to shimmer imperceptibly for a mere fraction of a second. He also made a note of the archon's face, so that he could avoid the man, and any claims of his faeriehood, in the future.
His glamour reinforced, he finally brought his attention back to the fine young alchemist he had been preying on. "Ah, he's an archon paladin, apparently. They were supposedly all killed ages ago. Either way no need to worry about it. That samurai seems to have been gotten rid of, and we can continue as we were unharassed." He stopped to pretend to think for a moment, before continuing, "Perhaps a room at a, different, inn would provide a suitable place to teach me how those circles work?" |
Liana looked at the Theran as he suggested they go to an inn for her to explain alchemy circles to him. "This is a pretty small town though." She said, "I don't think they have more than one inn, and I don't want to go to the one with the insane man." She pointed to a tent not to far away, "I believe that's the pub, we could find a corner in there. That should work as well."
