Seeing nothing of interest he wanders aimlessly in search for a bulletin of some sort, something to occupy him during this unamusing time, he manages to stumble across one but all of the duties were already taken, shaking his head he exits the city and draws his sword killing anything that held a sickening inhumane face. His blade; tinted silver with a lightblue shine on the side and inscriptions on the hilt in the Elven tongue. It glowed brightly, it is nothing special just to deceive the enemy, any true fighter wouldn't freight over a unique sword unless it held a powerful origin. If seen closely, the shadow of the man would not be his rather than that of a frost wyrm.
Clenching his sword tightly he would move into the valley. |
Orin, while talking to Kings, barely mangaed to see Aurok taking off for the pub. Even if he was a friend to the old man, Orin knew old age sometimes did things to people. Maybe Aurok, in his quiet wisdom, was just becoming yet another forgetful person in his old age. Whatever the case, Orin went after him.
"Hey, forgetting someone?" Orin, joked as he entered the bar with the old man. He noticed the activity starting to sprout from Relik asking people to identify the ring he'd found, but also some familiar faces. They were all the people he'd seen earlier before going off to the blacksmith. Taking a seat, he thought of what he would have to drink, and just decided on a simple ale. "You want anything?" He asked Aurok before getting up. |
As Raiden stomped off into the distance, a tall figure passed him on the road to the town. On closer inspection, this newcomer was a tall, green-scaled lizardman of some sort, and his muscular, clawed legs carried his body with an easy, springing step.
Of course, Raiden would have to draw his swords on the lizardman. "Hey! Stop! You must be a demon, right? Well, prepare yourself to face the Wrathful Visagemfffmmmmffff0-" The lizardman's huge paw fastened itself around Raiden's head, the palm easily covering the man's face. The bushi's hands closed around the lizardman's massive forearm, and the creature lifted Raiden up bodily. "You annoy me, little man," it intoned in a deep, sonorous voice. "Now fuck off and die." With a toss of his arm, the lizardman sent Raiden flying into a nearby lake. He didn't wait to see the man's struggles before moving on into the town. Hmm. I'm getting thirsty. I'll need a drink. The lizardman checked his waterskin, only to find that it was empty. Of course it was. That was why he had been looking for a town in the first place. He noticed a tea-house and pushed its door open, stooping to admit his bulk into the establishment. He was mildly surprised to see a draconic-looking lady at the counter. Settling as gingerly as he could into the seat beside her, he tapped her on the shoulder with his tail, and launched into the sussurant hissing and mouth-click language of serpentkind. <It is unusual to see one like yourself in public. Pray tell, lady, what species are you? I have never encountered your like before.> |
Orin had run off after the conversation, But at least Kings had gotten his name.
<Oh well, I suppose It's about time to prepare for Operation:GET MONEY BACK FROM THERAN! Especially if I"m going to do it before a witch hunt.> Kings scampered off. |
The floor shook as loud steps were heard from the distance, a large figure with a menacing blunt weapon stood before him standing tall at about 10', it held a large spiked club. It would rely on physical bruteness instead of mental intelligence and unwakening speed. The character held his sword to his right shoulder with both hands and his legs apart just slightly, his eyes would pierce through the darkness within in his hood, his focus was absolute. It grunted a few words before striking.
"Jah, hooman, small, white! COLD! Why stand front of? Move or crush be you!" The character stood his ground, the climate freezing over time. It became frustrated and lunged forward with a menacing smash of it's club destroying the ground, the character appeared on top of the club. "Whaaaarrrr?!?!!" |
A medium sized, redcloaked person enters the swallow inn. Looking around he sees a table with a group of his kind of adventurers.
"Helllo. I seem to be late," he says to them. |
Liana and Theran had finally gone to the pub, and they found a table in the corner. She had just finished going into a little detail about the transmutation circles, about how each one represents a different kind of transmutation. She stretched, sitting back in her chair and glanced around the bar, she noticed the pub was picking up, full of people who had been outside all day, some of them sitting down for a drink, some of them heading to the inn part of Swallow's Inn. Signs of night coming.
(OOC: there, does that work? heh) |
Theran nodded silently throughout Liana's explanation, listening intently, or at least pretending to, it was hard to be certain with the faerie, who was very good at pretending to do something he wasn't, particularily when there was something, or, more accurately, someone he was after.
Either way, however, he had paid enough attention to be able to formulate questions to draw Liana's attention back away from the other visitors in the pub. "But, tell me, certainly there can't be a completely different circle to memorize for every transmutation, so how do you dictate whether to turn a hunk of iron into a sword, a pike, or a dagger? Is there some alterations to the circle governed by some laws or is it something else?" He then pretended to just notice her stretching, "Unless you are too tired to continue the discussion, that is. You seem a bit tired, my dear." |
Liana stifled a yawn, "I'm fine, just a little sleepy from a long day." She explained, waving off his 'concern' for her being worn out. "As for your question, there's specific transmutations for certain types of transmutations, but how specific the ending result is depends on the alchemist themselves. The more detailed your mental picture of the object is, the better the result will be."
(OOC: I don't know about Krylo, but as far as I'm concerned, you can make something happen whever IHMN) |
