Earthquakes.

Something tells me mother nature is not having a good week. From the 12th up to today, the 16th, there have been quakes in various parts of the world. Perhaps the most startling is that 3 of which have been around the California area of the USA.

Is anyone else worried that these are only a glimpse of what is to come?

We had a small one a few years back down here in Georgia, despite it being common knowledge we don't get earthquakes in this state. Apparently it originated over in Alabama and traveled here. I agree: something's up here. But how is California getting three earthquakes in a week startling? From our point of view, they get earthquakes like Ireland gets rain. Of course, I haven't been there...

Also:

Holy...cow...would you look at that rep.

Small shake occurred earlier today in Irvine Ca. I'm not sure where it originated just that it could be felt here.

It might have something to do with that massive Quake that caused that Tusnami in India. That quake was so powerful it moved the earth enough that it slightly changed the postion of the moon. (as in us looking at the moon.)

Honestly I am not worried about the quakes in California. Its Yellowstone Park that has me worried. That place is just one massive Volcanio that is waiting to go off.

Oh, no! I'm going to California, just before the great Quake! (not the videogame Quake) No, seriously, I think everything will be fine, but still, it seems interesting. Also interesting, we had a few quakes here a while back, much bigger then normal (they went from barely felt to moving chandeliers, not strong, but some people worried) To top things off, my mom lives on a fifth floor, and is naturally easily frightened. Now, add to that the quakes...

And, I too think it had somehting to do with the big quake that caused the Tsunami back in december.

And, RaiRai, that rep of yours... God. God. Holy. I think you've overdone it with the whole rep thing. I mean, look at it. LOOK. AT. IT. Wow. Wow.

Hmm... Didn't we have this conversation already? :p

The amount of quakes in Cali has me worried, from the fact that I have many friends and loved ones there, who live on San Andreas. Three quakes in the past few days, including over 25 aftershocks, is unusually high, even for Cali. I'm not sure what it means, exactly, but I'm not likin' it too much.

And Rai: Damn dude, just damn.

I slept right through it.

I am kinda worried about the earthquakes in California. My dad is always there for business. It also troubles me that we would get an earthquake in Georgia. Its just not good.

There was also the Earthquake in Seattle about 6 years ago, a 5.0, I believe. There was one that hit here, in SE Washington, too. 3.0 here, and I slept right through it. :B But yeah, earthquakes have been showing up in places they shouldn't be more and more in recent years. It is a bit worrisome.

3 in 5 days, doesn't that give you the impression that the world is trying to either piss us off, scare us to death or is just teasing us before 'what is to come'?

It just seems that every day that I come home after work, I check the news channel and find there has been yet more activity elsewhere. Makes you wonder where it may hit next and how strong it may be.

(Also, Ireland doesn't get as much rain as Scotland within recent months.)
