He looked up. The airship... That was the signal for them to counter strike. "It's time!"
Ripel, mounted on a yellow chocobo (Boco was getting too tired with him on top), led the charge with several units behind him, just as he was ordered. He didn't really like this, charging once again when just defending had been troublesome. That airship must be really something for the General to have such confidence in it. He sighed, shoving those thoughts aside as the visions of armors and troops grew bigger. Ripel hoped that the Airship would be enough backup, because not only was his life on the line but those of his comrades were too. I just have to hope. |
Deamon laughed, then put his hand on Luce's shoulder. "Well, you see, I'm on this airship to have some fun. Voilent fun." Quickly, Deamon stepped around Luce and was behind him, then put him in a head lock and in a position so he could snap Luce's neck as at moment.
Might as well make a little show for the crew. Deamon turned his head to Black. "Go fly around above this ship or something, and be ready to pick me up." The bird chirped and took off again, flying above the airship. Deamon tightened his grip on Luce. "Now, if you try anything, I will snap your neck. Agreed?" |
General Ciaran also looked up and saw the airship, a small smirk appearing on his face. A new messenger was standing by and the general turned to him to begin new orders. "Order any black mages we have left, as well as the magitek troops and archers to begin firing on the airship with everything they have, and tell the white mages to stop healing the wounded and concentrate on shielding us from airborn attacks. Also, order the entire bulk of our groundtroops left here to engage the advancing forces."
The messenger nodded swiftly, and saluted before running off towards the healing tents." An airship, eh? This should be interesting... The general sat back and sipped at his drink, waiting for the fireworks around the airship to begin. (OOC: There, now IHMN doesn't have to godmode himself out of it. Just stay alive long enough for the ground troops to either blast it out of the sky or turn it away.) |
OOC: My was is simpler
|
OOC: Well, you can still do it your way... you'll just be under fire in the meantime... remember, you're out there acting all on your own. Ciaran doesn't even know he has a mercenary causing hell on the ship.
|
ooc-Eh...I don't care what happen to the airship. Too big of an advantage for either side right now. I'm not saying it'll be the only one. I doubt Cruelty's person wouldn't make an even better one. Though...IHMN, couldn't you have picked some random NPC instead of Luce? I know I said find some way to take care of the ship, but...eh...a headlock isn't that much of a big deal, since I know you're not going to kill him.
ooc-Sorry Cruelty, BM, an airship is just a big advantage at the moment, too big. Doesn't mean you can't fire if you're going down at the same time. |
OOC: We were cloaked, and he was right there... And my guy is showing off after since what he wanted to happen already did, so he would wants to take down the airship and leave Luce there to die when it crashes (But he won't of course)
|
"Hmm, whatever could you mean?" Luce said. The cloak was off, and everybody could see what was happening. Crew members appeared around the two, aiming rifles squarely at Deamon's head.
"Well, looks like chocobos werent meant to fly." Luce said casually. He was whiteknuckling his cane, and sweat began to drip down his brow. Deamon looked confused, then saw that Black was chained at the legs and neck, and more guns were pointed at the bird. Hopefully, Deamon wouldn't notice the illusion, and Luce was really hoping that the real choco didn't decide to set down, since Luce couldn't close physical contact... Then the barrage started. |
"I'm not stupid you fruit. Black is already gone." Deamon laughed, then noticed fire balls and lightning were shooting past the airship, and assumed there must be arrows hitting the bottom. (I would think they would stay out of arrows range)
Bastard... I was having some fun... I guess I'll have to hurry this up... Deamon looked at one of the riflemen. "I dare you to shot. Do you think this fruit will survive? I could just snap his neck, and even if you did hit me, often when death hits someone they have one last relfex." After he said that, Deamon began to walk towards the nearest door, and then would find th engine room from there. |
OOC: I'm confused, how can you disable an engine with just iron knuckles and one hand?
