Legend Of Zelda RP Interest
 

My idea is an RP based on the Legend Of Zelda game series? My idea was it would be based on the great wars, each participant would be able to control one whole race and fight the other races to win the war. Also each race could have one hero that you specifically control. Anyone interested?

Maybe I just haven't played the right Zelda games, but... What "great wars" do you speak of?

Its a war between all the races (Goron, Gerudo, Sheikah, Hylian, Zora) that went on before any of the Zelda games. They mention it in a few of the games, OoT especially.

I'm afraid I don't really know what wars you are talking about...were they between the main races in some of the games (i.e. the Hylians, Gorons, Zora, etc.)?

Maybe I just haven't played the right games...Or I forgot about a time when they were mentioned. They do sound vaguely familiar, actually.

In that case, I might be interested in either the Gerudos or the Hylians ... But first, what sort of information will be required for the character, and how are you basing the roleplay?

Oh they might not have called them the great wars in the games you played either... I think in one of them they called it the fierce wars... but yeah I will write a detailed explanation of the wars and post them for everyone.
I am still debating whether to do the wars (freedom) or make heroes and do quests (plot). If anyones interested then vote?

I vote you do heroes and do quests, for more plot. I think it might be easier for you and therefore more fun all-round - not that I'm trying to underrate your abilities or anything, just a general point.

Okay, okay, here's a better version: I vote that you run a hero-based campaign/rp - it might make for a better plot.

Yea, I think you're right. I have a basic plotline set up

A great evil has befallen Hyrule. A Gerudo traitor named Zerkil has stolen the Triforce, exploited its power and became the dark king of Hyrule. Monsters are all over the land, the people live in fear, the Goron's are forced out of their humble mountain home and into exile, the Zora's are also in exile, and Death Mountain is now a castle/fortress for the Lord Zerkil. The Dark Lord has locked the Tri-Force in a magic temple right outside his castle, and the only way to open said temple is by finding all 6 magic keys hidden across the land. The only key which has known where-abouts is the master key, which is kept with Lord Zerkil at all times. It is now up to you to obtain all 6 keys (Water, Fire, Earth, Shadow, Light, Master), defeat Zerkil, and take back the Triforce to restore Hyrule to its former glory.

Sounds intresting. I think I'll try to play as a deku scrub, if that is available.

Yea, you can be whatever LoZ character you want (even a Tokay.) I'll put up signup sheets when we get a bit more interest.

Having read the new description, I am definitely in for this one. I will think on who I'd like to be...I hope there's enough interest soon!
