"Yah sssure," Bismuth said towards Relik first, grinning toothily, "I'll pour. Jusssst thrash around and gurgle when you've had enough," she directed a thin stream from the large ball of water into Relik's open mouth. Just as it entered Relik's gob, another thin stream of water snaked towards Liana, hovering hesitantly near her face until she cupped her hands. The water swished the dirt off her fingers, dripping the dirty water off the side and filling her cupped palms with clear liquid.
To Ssuma, she said, "I have no waterssskin. Only waterrr. You don't have waterssskin?" |
"Must have left it in the inn. Couldn't you lend me one, little human miss?"
He glanced over at Liana, lying back so he could warm the soles of his feet against the fire. |
Liana drank the water thankfully, then looked over at Ssuma. "I don't have a waterskin on me right now but..." she trailed off, then inched off to the side a bit and drew a transmutation circle. Shortly after a little flash of light, Liana tossed a waterskin to Ssuma, "Hopefully that works fine." She said.

"Very well indeed, miss. Thanks for the skin - I'll remember this."
He turnd to Bismuth. "Oh stewardess, water please..." |
"hsss, ss," Bismuth chuckled as she directed another stream towards the newly transmuted waterskin. It filled quite quickly, and left her ball of water a quarter lacking.
"If anyone wissshesss waterr, give me a buzzss," she added as she formed the rest of the water into a long staff, compacting air into it in the process. Then she extracted her two scythe ends and attached them onto both ends of the staff again. Weapon completed, she collected herself and settled down - curled up - against a tree trunk, calmly settling in for the night. |
"Nice trick she's got there," he mused, looking at the links of his crystal chain, wrapped as it was arounf his leather beacer. "Won't have to worry about being disarmed that way. You could make it out of any fluid, blood even. Talk about hoist by your own petard..."

As the character entered the forest, he heard a few distinctive voices conversing. Acting as a shadow he advanced further, the voices grew louder and he could see multiple figures, he pressed himself against the tree and turned his head over watching them closely. His cold breath was visible through the shade of the forest.

While the others were getting water and drinking their fill, Samoht was busy keeping watch. Other than to shoot down the bird, he hadn't moved from his seating place. And it was a good thing, too. Otherwise, he wouldn't have noticed the interloper.
A short distance away in the forest, behind some trees, a small puff of vapor floated out into the air. If he didn't have his incredible vision in darkness, he would have missed it. Then another puffed out. And another. He quickly figured out that it was breath. Samoht quietly shuffled towards the wood elf. The others in the group barely noticed him walking by the fire. When he was close enough, he lightly grabbed Shael's left shoulder. Samoht didn't look at him, but stared straight ahead. "Don't look up. We're being spied on. Behind us, about 45 meters away. I can sneak up on him in the darkness, but since we don't want to draw attention to ourselves, me blowing him away is out of the question. So, you need to cover me. You're a wood elf, you're quiet in the trees. I'll sneak up beside him, you grab him from above." Samoht released the elf's shoulder, and seemingly disappeared into the darkness of the night. |
"Actually, I can make the weapon itssself out of waterr... but it getsss a bit messssy when trying to cleave through flessh," Bismuth stated a bit conversationally, "That'sss why I prefer usssing sssolids. Much morrre rreliable," she smiled pleasantly, her draconic eyes glittering in her halfbreed face.
When Samoht came and collected Shael, Bismuth dismissed the calm concern in their low conversation. Their aura flared, one in perhaps hidden excitement. Obviously, somebody had entered the forest and was making their way towards them. And, judging from the soft, distant flare of an aura picking its way through the forest towards them, it was an intruder. A stranger. Bismuth shifted her body, clawed hand resting lightly on the handle of the double-headed scythe. |
