32XX - Stage 2
Hunter 2049 Shade, Level B, was declared missing in action and presumed dead. Mavericks Dante, aka Uriel, and Gutx Man, both previous Hunters, are also presumed dead, along with an unknown Maverick. The mission to investigate the ruined lab in the eastern mountains of the Northern continent was abandoned, since the explosion had caused an avalanche, blocking the entrance to the lab. The Hunters from that incident were called back to the main Resistance base in Reploidios, one of the two remaining cities, for repairs. When finished with repairs, they were told to return to their homes (Which are inside of that city, but not inside of the base) until needed. (It’s a big, technological city that is very clean, just make up what it looks like yourself)
Meanwhile… “Damn, they ripped you apart.” Toxin Centipede said as he was repairing Uriel. Toxin was the Maverick scientist. Standing at 13 feet, he was made up of 12 appendages that were each 1 foot long, and have 2 arms, which hands, sticking out of their sides. These arms could be used as hands or feet, but the bottom six often being used as feet, while the top six were used as hands. The last foot was Toxin’s head, which was a metal sphere with two eyes, the left one having a monicale on it, and two long antennae that bent down. They were inside of the laboratory in the Maverick base. The lab itself was in a fairly good condition, though only because Toxin is a neat freak. The rest of the base is rather run down and dirty. However, it’s security system was running at 100%. Vile and Gutx were both outside of the laboratory doors, waiting for their turns to be repaired. |
Vile didn't know where his emergency programming came from, but it saved him. It had emergency welded most of himself together so he wouldn't fly apart, but he also looked like a mess that had been welded together by an incompetent fool.
<Argh, hopefully Toxin can fix all the damage my emergency systems caused, and maybe update most of my systems. So many are out of date...> Vile thought. He was content to sit in one place and not move, not wanting to move any of his parts any more than necessary. He had regained consciousness shortly after the bomb exploded, but it had been chaos. He was quickly covered in an avalanche the explosion had caused, and was rescued only because his emergency system also activated a beacon for the Mavaricks to pick him up. <Bah, can't believe I was so careless, I should have looked for programs that would make the base self-destruct from hacking. Next time I need to be more careful, even in the heat of battle I need to take maximum precautions with Resistance computers.> Vile fumed internally at himself. |
Mephitis stepped out of his home to take a walk and contemplate recent events. Ever since he got back he was solemn. Well, more solemn than usual. Not only did we lose Shade, we never found out that lander's owner…

OOC: Which was completely unrelated and unimportant...
|
OOC: I know, but you could use it as a plot twist later.
|
Lock was standing near a random door looking at the sky-rises. "It's odd. We were just hit hard and fast."
Someone winced as they walked by him because the light reflected off of his armour. With the abscense of Shade, Lock had been elected to fill the vacant spot of Freija's bodyguard list, and he was now waiting for her to meet him. |
Pelc was quiet ever since the incendent. Shade was his role-model, ever since he met him in the city. He'd admired his skills and fighting abilities. He walked out of his room and just looked ot the window, like he did before all this happened, just looking at the snow.
|
Gutx had been 'sitting' in the waiting are, spouting off nonsensical phrases and numbers with no abandon.
|
Vile got up on his one good leg and limped to the door the Toxic Centipede's repair shop. He cracked open the door and said, "I'm willing to get repaired after Gutx here, as long as you can stop him from spouting random unintelligable babbel." Then he closed the door and sat back down, focusing his sound sensors to cut most of the static and garbeled language spouting out of Gutx.
|
OOC: You can control Toxin
Toxin was almost done repairing Uriel, all he had to do was fix the six stab wounds in his shoulders. The explosion damage was already fixed. |
