I meant that his cloak isn't magical and doesn't do the fitting in thing.

Yey I can finally join an RP that someone actuclly posts in.

CallmePrismatic 06-30-2005 11:24 AM

I'm back from my thing, should I just read the current chapter and insert Artemis (the dryad in a druid's body) or should IHMN do it?

IHateMakingNames 06-30-2005 02:45 PM

Read the RP and wait for a good time to join. Randomly showing up and joining the group is not a good time, by the way.

Erm...is there any way I could get a summarized version of recent events relayed to me (doesn't have to be posted as a PM will do), nothing in depth just the kind of stuff the main characters would tell a new guy within the first ten minutes. Also, when would be a goodish time to hop in? I guess hoping for them to be in/near a forest is overshooting?

IHateMakingNames 06-30-2005 10:30 PM

PCs are all in a town, they do stuff, nigh comes, magic eaters attack them, they run away, group up near forest, make camp, sleep, wake up, talk.

That's what has happened so far.

And yes, just being near a forest isn't very good. If they were lost in a forest, that would be good (But they won't be, since Shael knows where he is going).

Edit - Also, I've seen several bambi references. Don't use real world references.

Dante, Ssuma wouldn't know Relik is a treasure hunter.

I might make a small list of emotions Bismuth can sense and what colour they might be in, just to lift confusion. (Sorry, IHMN, i keep getting life force and emotions mixed up. will look after my posts from now on)

And since I can't use grey, I will have to improvise.

Red - typical colour for pure anger or passion, normally Bismuth would see pure red in the aura of a berserker of some sort. Other angry emotions are red tinted with other colours.

Blue - typical colour for sorrow in its purest form. Normally, sadness in general is tainted with streaks of sluggish brown. Blue also suggests calm when tinted with green.

Green - if it is an intense, dark green that Bismuth sees, it is the sign of jealousy or discomfort. Placid green is when somebody is feeling content and satiated, or, placid.

Gold/yellow - fierce colour of belief and the feeling of righteousness. Normally, paladins and holy men and such would be surrounded by gold tinged with white lazy streaks.

White - feeling of blankness. If tinted with jagged streaks of pitch black, gives emotion of fear/terror. The more streaks, the more intense the feeling of fear.

Black - not seen in pure form at any time unless with the feeling of fear. Usually, it darkens another colour to show the deviousness of the actual emotion. spots of black on a blue-white aura also means confusion. Gold with black lightning means alarm. Complete black or grey signifies soemthing devoid of any emotion.

Then again, this is only related to a typical creature or being displaying typical emotions, most of the time in their purer forms. Since humans and sentient people tend to have several emotions running through their brains at once, the colours mix and match to create a wide spectrum of colours, shading and patterns. So somebody could be emitting a placid green aura swirling with deep sad blue spirals that bleed to kingfisher blue. Bismuth is pretty good at detecting emotions as long as they are intense enough, or aren't TOO subtle. She's worked out what most of the different array of colours mean throughout her years, too.

Dante - if anybody could describe what your aura is all the time, it would be hot, lustful pink with a hint of orange tang and spotted with bits of intense red. Don't ask :p

If they're near a forest, currently, could Artemis run out of the forest being chased by giant forest mosters and embroil the group in the battle, then latch on afterwards?

It is nearly impossible to get to a computer with internet these days. (In case yoiu were wondering about that comment it explains my prolonged absence.) Could somebody give me a rough "story so far" kind of thing.

Edit
Sorry I didn't read the previous posts. I see my error now
