IHMN-Yeah, I should...in terms of plot. I guess I'll go with my second idea. N'Revat is starting to look like the Empire from FF VI.

Alan-I know what you mean, and sorry if I seemed like a jerk. The BM academy was fun, but I'm just looking for a bit more Plot-Oriented (Story shall always be more important than battle to me) rp.

It's not that I don't like you, it's just that I don't want such a powerful, and rather unexplainly motivated, character so soon. I have given a couple people permission to be quite powerful (now or later on) because it suited the roles they had.

Change your character to make it suitable if you wish and I'll see if it works.

Others-If you guys have been jerks to him (like I think I sorta was), apologize. I meant to give constructive critism when I addressed him, and if you didn't...well, say sorry at least.

I remember godmoding major first time to the old boards, and I was treated fairly well after that mistake. I don't want to start a cycle of insults.

I don't think it's really to late for Celes to join in... We aren't really a group yet, and I'm not sure we are going to be... Ecurt, after this is some wierd thing going to happen to force us to be in a group together, or shall we remain seperated?

Besides, BM and Cruelity joined, but haven't posted yet, so you could easily jump in, you having been a trained Dragoon warrior, it would make sense that you are in one of the armies... N' preferable, since Rad seems full

Well, if I joined in right at this point, I would at least want to wait until tomorrow to post... I'm having the worst writers block.... I mean... I've been sitting here trying to think of what to write for 'Perdition' for about an hour now (doing other things too, of course ^_^; ) but still.. I know what I want to happen, but I can't think of how I want to write it.... I have really really bad writers block at the moment... >_< I hate writer's block... But if I absolutely should post now... I'll try to find away to beat around my writer's block.

Name: Naras Itak (All "a"s as in Spanish, "e"s as in Spanish, too. i.e., a = "ah", e = "ee")

Physical Traits: Age 58, with a wiry but able 5'7" frame and white-streaked black hair tied up in many medium-sized dreadlocks. His hair's also tied with several decorative beads and ribbons, and his ears are pierced with dangling earrings that have very small and ritualistically decorated beads on them. He wears many thin and light robes; his outside robes colored deep red, and his inside robes colored a dark brown, with many elaborate embroidered ritualistic designs and tassles sewn on. Normally they hang off of his shoulders, closing at his waist where a sash of cords keeps his clothing closed.

He carries bags of potions and ingredients with him, usually tied to his sash or slung over his shoulders in small leather slingbags. On his feet are a pair of simple leather mocassins, padded on their soles with hardwood covered in leather for durability. Sometimes he wears a headdress of feathers, but usually only for show and effect when mooching the locals for cash. He has dark eyes and very dark and heavily wrinkled skin. His face is worn thickly with both smile lines and frown lines. He always carries his bow and quiver of arrows on his back when travelling, because sometimes a wild animal is better food than what can be bought at taverns. Or so he thinks, at least.

Class: Shaman

Main Skill: Raises spirits of dead animals and summons spirits of nature's creatures to augment his allies' abilities.
Secondary Skill: Makes potions of pretty much every type: Healing, mana, status-curing potions, augmentation potions...

Background: Naras was born into a small Indian tribe on the edge of N'Revat territory, into a family where his father was a shaman. He followed in his father's footsteps, as was tradition, and learned all about medicine and the secret arts of his tribe's shamen. He picked up several talents, ranging from creating healing potions to potions that could temporarily summon a spirit of nature to aid a warrior in his or her fight. One dark night, on his fifteenth birthday, his father took him aside and shared with him all the secrets of Spirit Summoning.

Over the next few years he proved to be a promising summoner of nature and a good healer, and was guided all through his apprenticeship to become a true master of his inherited craft. So it was that when his father died, he took his place as his tribe's leading shaman, and was even given a seat on the ruling council. But during his thirty-eighth year, a gang of marauders raided his village and slaughtered most of his people. It was only because of Naras and a band of six warriors that a mere twenty of his people, of over two hundred, survived. After this, he was the only member of the Council left alive, and so ordered his people to find a new home, or perhaps move to one of the N'Revat cities.

Which option they chose he'll never know, for he set out on a journey and explored the countryside as a traveling medicine man. He blamed himself for allowing his spirit shield, which had originally protected the village from attack, falter during the raid and allow the marauders to enter.

He's spent his last two decades roaming from one town to the next, province to province, and has built something of a small reputation for himself. In a certain corner of isolated Rab territory, not more than a few cities small, he's known as the 'Badlands Miracle Man', for his feats of healing and where he comes from.

Extra info: He travels with his pet falcon, which sits on his shoulders everywhere he goes. Sometimes he lets it fly off into the sky, then he comes back later on to share what he's seen with him. Kind of a pet scout.

Pre-Rp Relations: None right now, but if you like, he can be.

Well, I'm bored shitless and just waiting for more things to happen so I can post a bit more... so if you want you can tell me what you want to happen in PMs and I'll help you write it.

Note that this isn't so much "I'll help you!" as it is "I'm bored, gimmie something to do."

My guess is it involves jumping...

Well, thanks for the offer, but I was consitering having her join later anyway. It would be more interesting to have people join at random intervals.
