Fight Bar: End Bar Rehash
 

I'm hoping since its been a while and people have regained interest in a free RP. I'm bringing in a Role playing thread that involves using newly created(or old characters) characters and pitting them in a duel decided on by the challenger to the challengee(is that even a word?). But meanwhile waiting for the next fight the fighters can have a drink and talk smack to each other, have a few laughs, or casually talk. Two of the greater characters from the End Bar will be brought back, that would be Jaryd and Trevvor. One of the rules is no fighting outside the arena, other then that everything is cool. No godmodding or powerhousing. If any of it is seen, your character will be disqualified and teleported out by Jaryd. Nikose, me, and Danath will be mods for the game pending his reaction to this.

Bio: Originally born in Sharn, the capital city of the realm of Eberron, Raine Silvermane and her Less-than-competent companion, Jaric the Artificer, are moderately famous for recovering various magitechnology schematics for house Cannith. Raine weilds a pair of impressively lethal Sonic-Oscillation Swords (Vibroblades, for you Star Wars people) created by her companion, Jaric, however due to his incompetence, these weapons are somewhat less than reliable.

Appearance: Raine is approximately 5' 9" tall, and weighs in at about 153 lbs. Her eyes are blood red, and her hair a light blue, matching well with her battle robe, fashioned from blue dragonhide, allowing for maximum flexibility while still providing protection greater than any mundane suit of armor. Contrasting agaisnt this are her black, batlike wings, and fiendish tail, as well as her poison claws and black blood, easily betraying her as being something more than human.

Garud:you really don't need an explanation for your character job or bio.

The arena in it will be decided by the barkeep Jaryd. It will be random from a forest to a town to a rocky wasteland. Hope to see more people.

*sneaks in* Um.. Hello *looks around nervously* Mind me jumping in? Had some trouble earlier and all that. But uh...
Anyway, heres the character

Class: Force-Assasin (Made up starwars class, a lot more versatile than you might think)

Bio: Everon, trained to use the force for assasination is a weapon himself. He uses the force in a way that he would be able to get by even a dual saber wielding jedi master.

Description: Everon wears a completly black suit that fits perfectly with his body which is slim, he stands about 1.72M. His hair is ear length and a dark purple color. His eyes are grey. Over the suit he wears a dark grey cape that covers his entire body when he stands still. He wears a special glove made of a very strong metal and covered with cortosis on his left hand, it does not hinder movements though. His right hand is covered by a leather glove and he wears blaster proof arm bracers that also works well against most steel weapons.
He also has knee bracers (knee protection, dont know if bracers are the right word for that) made of the same material as his arm bracers.
He wears a pair of black boots that dampens movements on areas where it would not matter how good you were at moving silently, he has no need for them on metal surfaces and the like though.
He wears no stealth field generator since he thinks of those who use them as amatuers (however you spell that).

Weapons: He uses a katana enhanced with cortosis so that it would be able to resist lightsabers. He also uses a pair of vibro-knives in close combat. However his most used weapon is throwing knives, very thin and sharp knives that if aimed good enough can penetrate any armour.
And of course he also uses the force, however he prefers to use it only to highten his body reflexes and movements.

Hmmm, a jedi(sith). I'm not quite sure unless the opposition has magic weaponry resistant to breaking. I want fair fights, so I'll allow it just once. I might need another thread for the arena once someone wants to enter. I'll use rounds as well. Let people attack, then let them have a break then back to fighting. People can hang around with each other before matches but not too long. As for the sith, you'd be at a terrible standpoint for those with magic, you wouldn't be able to deflect or resist unless you can find a way he can. I still need a few more sign-ups and im done.

It'd be fairly balanced actually, RMB. It's a duel arena after all, and if he were to use lightsabers, I'm sure the opposition could be given weapons employing a cortosis weave (Lightsaber resistance field for swords). Also, Sith can use force energy-resistance, so he'd have *some* resistance to elemental magic.

You aren't "given" weapons. You either come in with some or you fight bare-handed. Either that or you have to use what is in the arena, AND you either fight to the death or to submission.

*Raises eyebrow* Interesting. More of a gladitorial deathmath fest than a civilized fighting arena then? Historically the challenger would provide his opponent with a suitable weapon if he was so deprived in an honorable duel, but I suppose not anymore... Generally, having a drink and casually talking with people who you'll kill later that day dosen't seem the friendly enviroment it was worked out to be. Even Romans armed their gladiators so that they'd put up a little show before being horribly slaughtered.

Well, allright. Certainly different, lucky my character has natural weapons, I guess.

Well, since I haven't started it...yet. I can change it so that if the opponent has no weapon, the challenger can either choose for them to have a weapon or provide them with one.

Other then that, the challengee can choose whether or not to accept the challenge.
