Star Wars: Rise of the Galaxy (interest thread)
 

This star wars RP will take place during advent of space travel and the beginning of Galactic trade, and crime.

No one will start out as force sensitive, this is before the Jedi or the Sith. Eventually during the storyline according to certain events that take place people may eventually come to realize their powers, but as for now everyone will start out as normal.

Before I formulate the specifics of the rp is anyone interested?

Before the sith? God thats gotta be VERY long ago then. Before space travel actualy. The sith were originaly a race that were extinguished long after the jedi appeared. Only their ideals and beliefs were left in the original movies.
But to put that aside. I might be interested to join. :D

I meant before the Sith as in the Sith force users, not the race it self.

Space travel is just starting now, blasters are large, clumsy, and expensive, shield generators are unheard of except on the largest of ships. Slug throwers and other such weapons are still in major use.

It was meant as a half joke, but you know. The sith were force users actualy, and more powerfull than the normal ones if I remember correctly.
But lets just forget about it for now. (I know I brought it up)

Jeez omnishadow you should really read about naga shadow. The sith were servants of dark jedi who were exiled to sith planets. The Dark jedi took the name of sith.
Would it use history from around that time from books?
Either way I would be interested.

His name was Naga Sadow actualy. Oh well, I was thinking of being a kind of assasin.
If you have seen the anime Noir you will have an idea of what I mean. (Not thinking of any of the main characters really)

Interesting... if this is nearing the beginning of intergalactic trade... Well, I really don't know what timeline that would be. 4000 years before KotOR?

I can see you don't want to deal with any force-sensitives, but what races are we looking at? I'd probably go for an Echani virbo-weapon duelist, unless we're still looking at regular swords. Wouldn't mind playing a faulty HK-model droid or anything, for comic relief.

Do droids have sentience in this period?
