ep 366 the vampire has a name

and apparently lives in his parent's basement. i wonder how he'll be tied to lich though

The red speech bubbles don't look evil to me... they look more... girlish... or something.

Truce 12-30-2003 02:16 AM

Well...it's a very Brian thing to do afterall. Seeing as the Vilbert is Evil (Unless Sulk is, go figure) he'll probably be Lich. Or maybe Sulk will...

And the red speech bubbles remind me of creepy eyes...don't ask.

This punk's the vampire? Bet him and Red Mage would get along great...

I take one look at this guy and know who's going to be the fourth Dark Warrior. Call it intuition if you want.

Unless of course...

Uhm... Er... Duh?

Maybe, its just because the Sulk (a cameo character, who I think is rather bleh) was brought into this, but I really didn't care much for Vilbert's intro...

Well maybe Brian's patterning Vilbert after Metal Gear Solid 2's "Vamp".

Solid Snake: During those two days, he survived by feeding on the blood of his family to quench his thirst. That was how he acquired a taste for blood...
Raiden: So that's why they call him "Vamp"...
Solid Snake: No. "Vamp" isn't for vampire. It's because he's bisexual...

I bet he transforms into the vampire. This guy looks a little too much like Drizz'l. His sprite is where the Drizz'l sprite came from, anyway.

Sky Warrior Bob 12-30-2003 04:39 PM

Eh? Its the FF3j Scholar sprite. Drizz'l is an alteration of a FF2j character, whose name I forget.

They look nothing alike. Of course, if you were to compare Steve's Left-Hand Man, Red Mage's dad, and who knows who else, you might have reason to complain.

Of course, I'm currently working on something that looks a tad better, but I don't know how Brian will feel about using a different sprite for the same character.

Well, maybe he just changed clothes?

Oops, my mistake. Still say that's his non-vampiric form or something.

Edit: Although on closer inspection, thinking the guy was the one one you said you used to make Drizz'l with is an easy mistake to make at first glance.
