Am I the only one who's noticed this?

Metropolice, City of Light:
---Greatest Economic Force: Lexcorp (Evil)

Gotham, City of Darkness:
---Greatest Economic Force: Wayne Enterprises (Good)

Moving to Comics!

Truce 12-30-2003 03:34 AM

You know, I haven't thought about that...but maybe it doesn't have to do with the alignment?

Metropolis-Everything is usually done out in the open.
Gotham-Most stuff happens in secrecy.

Just proves that a competently run evil empire can do more good than an altruistic corporation run by a guy who hasn't slept in twenty years.

Kurosen 12-30-2003 03:38 AM

Lexcorp is evil? What? Luthor only wants the best for humanity. It's not his fault if what is best isn't necessarily all sunshine and lollipops. If it weren't for that blasted alien butting in where he's not wanted, or legally entitled, Luthor would've built us a paradise by now!

Truce 12-30-2003 03:47 AM

Heh, seems like Brian is better.

However, Batman manages to accomplish his goles whiles handling many foes. Lex only has to handle one usually, and he hardly ever succeeds.*

*I have no real knowledge of the DC universe, only have a few comics which used to be my brother, so if I am wrong just ignore my sad attempt to make myself seem smarter than you in this particular subject. But if I am right, ignore everything else in this paragraph and bow down to me.

Meh. I have more respect for Lex, anyway... at least he doesn't look as dorky as Batman.

Oh, sure, a paradise where everyone has armagedon weapons and everything is ruled over by a corperate mogulship.

Dante 12-30-2003 10:46 PM

Isn't that paradise?

Lycanthrope 12-31-2003 01:03 AM

Up till the mogulship part. Seriously, imagine a world where Microsoft ran everything... it would be like... it is now. But worse, imagine if Disney ran everything.... *shudders*
