Now please... be nice. I am making this entire thing from scratch, so it may be rocky at the start, but I think I can make this work.
But I need some help from the masses, so before I get these, "OMG MC U r T3H SuXXors!" That won't help anyone, and will only piss me off. Please don't piss me off. Moving on... First off is the sign up sheet. It should be pretty much self explanatory. I'm going to have everyone start off at level five until things start to get going. Obviously as we do more, more EXP, more SP... more power... you get the idea. (To get your sheet, click the Sign-up sheet on the bottom of this page For an example, read my next post) On the bottom of this post are the Spells and Skills that I have thought up of already or stole. Please read them over and think of some others you think should be added to the list. As long as they are plausable, expect to find them all there with a price tag. Then after all of that is said and done, read over the battle description to see what I've thought up so far, comment, suggest (PLEASE!) or the like on it. Again... I beg of you, I'm stepping out of my normal bounds of Roleplaying and trying to devise up a simple stat based roleplay that hopefully everyone can use. Please be nice because I put a lot of work into this, and I'm proud of the work so far. Count me in, still can't stop playing FFTA after about a year of owning the thing. But alas, it is late and I have to sleep for a few hours so as not to randomly disembowel my friends when they make too much noise. And the reason I'm keeping them alive is that sometimes they pay for their own food and stuff like that. Plus, I get to make fun of them for their mis/overuse of gaming terms. I'm sorry, but every kill in Halo 2 is not a pwn. Maybe a double or triple kill, but certainly not when you pick on me over and over again with the fskin' shotgun. Alright, must shut self up now and go to bed... RESERVE!

You did the stats wrong. I was wondering how you had a movement of 10 with a speed of 70. All the stats except for Health, Magic Power and Magic defense increase in price as the level goes up. 1 point to make it level one, 2 points to make it level 2 and so on. The "SP" under EXP is how many Skill points you have, which needs to be worked out, so ignore those for now. |
is anyone else gonna make charector sheets? it has been 5 days since i made mine. everyone else has said theyre joining this one but they haven't sent a charector sheet. if i didn't know any better id think people had given up on this RP.
i have edited my Charecter sheet multiple times but i think there are a few bugs in it. please explain where and how to calculate the stats. |
Name: Drogon
Age: 20 Race: Human Appearance: 6 feet tall with a lean build. His tan pants are torn at the hems and grace the laces of his brown, weather-beaten boots. They are a loose fit on his legs, but afaded white martial-arts belt holds them up. He wears a simple bastokan shirt, standard issue to bastokan adventurers- white with blue trim... He has a head full of brown hair that falls cleanly down his shoulders. With green eyes and a laid back personality, hes willing to give anything a shot. Background/Personality: Hailing from the bastokan republic of Vana'diel, Drogonis your bread and butter monk- minus the lack of smarts. He knows a lot more than most monks do about survival and the world in general (though most mages would still consider him dumb as a rock), but he's twice as broke. Raised in the Galkan slums, he spent most of his childhood either being beaten by rich humans or...well...being beaten by racist Galkas (so he knows how to run and dodge; u learn quick from galkan punches!). He left his hometown several years ago to try his luck in adventuring, and found that questing as a freelance adventure isn't as rewarding as the bards say. He is desperate for work and with the new clan he might still have a chance. Class/(subclasses): Monk/Warrior Equipment: weapon: fists! armor: cloths Level: 5 HP: 700 MP: 15 Movement: 5 (rounded up?) Strength: Health 6 Physique 5 Toughness 5 Skill: Speed 3 Reaction 2 Guile 2 Sense 2 Magic: Magic Power 1 Magic Defense 1 *not sure if i did this right...exp wise i still got exp to lvl up with (if were using exp from lvls 1-5 to determine starting stats) but thorqs and mcs stats total up to 33. I made mine add up to 33. -EDIT: ok max is 50 on statpoints, got it. this should add up to 50 (unless they start at zero instead of 1...). For movement it says divide speed by 2 if even. Well...mines odd. should we leave it @ 4.5 and mabe flip a coin b4 i move? mabe heads i get 5 movement tails i get 4? just a thought. Im also assuming we don't start out with any skills. PS: I kno some basic actionscript in flash, mabe i could write a calc that adds up dmg or somthing (to factor in things like weapon dmg, elemental resistance)? |

Whoa... there's still interest in this? (Nods) All right...
The points work in the following way: You start off with 50 points. The way that you spend them increases as you go up in a level. Say you wanted to raise your "Physique" to level one, you have to pay one point. To raise it to level two, you must spend two points. Level Three? Three points. So on and so forth. The only expceptions to this rule is "Health" and the entire "Magic" catagory. They are only one point per level, no matter how high. That's how that works. The battle system (well... the movement and damage aspect part of it) is included in a .doc. file in one of my ealier posts. There is still a few bugs that need to be worked out, as this entire system is being custom made. That's right, everything is being made up. If any of you have an idea on how this could be better/ slash easier, let me know. |
