I tried to resist, but it is futile. Light falls into shadows and is swallowed by darkness unending. There is no escape. The power of evil compels me.
Besides, the count is currently 10/7 in the favour of good. This might be a bit on the powerful side so tell me if its too much. It incidently means that he can be a member of TEWHC if he feels like it. Name: Kirakiri Side: Evil Race: Demon Age: 476 Appearance: Kirakiri is a little above average height with a mostly human appearance. His forehead is marked by a vertical third eye, slittled and golden like his other two and he has long white hair (bwahahaha) through which a rather impressive set of six silvery, long, thin horns protrudes. His skin is a silvery-blue and he usually appears to be wearing partial shining and reflective samurai armour although the point where it ends and he begins is very vaguely defined. Kirakiri is capable of assuming any number of variants on this form as strikes his fancy. Weapons: Kirakiri generally wields whatever weapon is appropriate although he prefers swords and has been known to wield several simultaneously. Although not as focused in a particular weapon as many of the others, his ability to use very unorthodox techniques can help even the battle. Special Skills: First of Kirakiri's talents is his ability to change forms. This gives him considerable resilience and given time he can fashion a likeness very similiar to anyone he has seen. This is imperfect however - he can only copy what he has observed so this can mean flaws in his disguise. Additionally if he is wounded (and does not expect it, if the wound isn't a very serious one) it reveals that beneath the surface he is something far removed from what he is imitating (the black ichorous blood for a start). He can alter his size to a moderate degree - growing larger and also able to assume a form as small as a cat. His shapeshifting also allows him to adapt his body for virtually any purpose although there are limitations to this (for example, he has difficulty controlling more than a few limbs at once) and especially unusual forms are difficult to maintain. He generally finds it easiest to make changes to his current form as needed. Secondly Kirakiri can split himself into two temporarily. This can be a very surprising technique to be faced with although it is possible to recognise if there is a duplicate or not - Kirakiri can't mimic other forms while divided and the two halves must maintain similiar forms but vary in colouration and appearance slightly. Finally the duplicates are weaker than Kirakiri's normal form and must remain relatively close to one another. History: Kirakiri is a thankfully rare variety of shapechanging demon. He is cruel, capricious and fickle but paradoxically keeps to his own unfathomable moral code. Some think that all shapeshifters are inherently contrary. Occasionally he goes off and spends some time in a specific form although he keeps silent if he considers it entertainment or training (best guess is both). He is a consumate deciever from his practice at passing himself off as something else but it is possible to draw him out by angering him. Extras: Despite his potent shapechanging abilities, Kirakiri has his share of weaknesses. Intense pain can cause him to lose control of his body, usually making him degenerate into a flailing mass of limbs. Certain spells, procedures and substances can trap him in a form, force him to revert to his true form (a form he almost never uses), control his shifting to a degree and there is said to be one that throws his abilities into uncontrollable overdrive - turning him into a horrible thrashing monster before eventually burning him out and killing him. (Basically I'm leaving some of this for later - mirror magic is a possibility though) |
Cool, I added a second skill.
|
Added memory copying skill, and a slightly longer bio.
|
Modified. Added a more practical single-opponent attack, and clarified what kind of demon I was in the discription. Personally, I thought most Japanese demons were totemic animals, but I suppose they have something for everything.

If you don't want to, you don't HAVE to have two skills. For those who do, they can.
Blindmime- You won't be invincible to Krylo's punch. However, with your durability, your skin will be like iron. As such, the punch will have the same effects as it would on steel. Also, it will deflect normal weapons like iron would. Arhra- You're good. Also, unless you've said that you're going to post a character, like IHMN, I'm cutting off. There's quite a few people, and though I'm expecting a few to drop out pretty early, as that seems to happen quite a bit with bigger RPs, there's still a lot of people. If you really, really want to join, and you have a good excuse, PM me. Oh, and Armored, *hush*. Quit peeking into my mind! That happens MUCH later in the RP. |
Ya know what? Raiden pointed out something that was good enough for me, so I'll just take that idea of making shields with the demon souls. I'll go edit it into Suzume's sheet in a minute.
Thanks Raiden, even if it was unintentional. |
You're welcome, Lazy.
Now, this will start either tonight or tomorrow morning. Now, the first chapter I have planned out. The first chapter has the same basic storyline for the past two RPs, and after the first chapter, we go off in any direction we find the wind blowing in. Basically, it will be Kurama leaving home, going to meet a friend so that he can leave on his quest. It's at that point where the good guys, through a series of strange coincidences, meet up and get attacked by a bunch of demons. Now, a few of the bad guys could show up and see them, but most of the bad guys will probably have their first post having them be recruited. Seeing as there are quite a few human evil people, they won't be attuned to Talkatz, and won't be able to sense his orders. So, he'll hunt them down. Mintaro's character, since he swore an oath to him, will be with Kurama at the very beginning, while the other good guys will meet him later. |
I bid my character to lead the initial attack. ;)
Unless of course, Raiden would rather have me assist in recruiting the evil human members of team evil. |
For my character's 'second skill' I'm merely going to upgrade his first one. He may now deal those punches with any part of his body. Foot, knee, fist, elbow, head, penis. Any part.
Although, I am now tempted to have him shout "COCKSLAP OF DEATH!" and use the penis variant. Edit: Note, this doesn't mean every strike will be this attack. Think of it as one of the special moves in a fighting game. One of the ones that doesn't use up your power meter. Yes, it's more powerful than your normal attacks, but it's also slightly more difficult to do, so you only use it sometimes. Generally multiple times during one battle, but still sometimes. Also, I never intended for magical weapons to break when he uses that ability. The wielder's arm would probably be a little sore from the energy, or they may get knocked back or some such. I mean, it's not like the energy is just going to evaporate. His fist/foot/knee/whatever would probably sting like a mother fucker too. Also, if he uses it on the bladed part of say... a katana... his hand is going to get cut in twain. It's not magical, really, just a special technique. |
Hm... I guess this is what happens when one loses track of time. (shrugs) Ah well... I kind of lost track when I came back to see 5 pages to read through. I'm out unless room is made, but until then...
Good roleplayin' guys! |
I've decided that the most ingenious way to improve on immortality is to have a never ending endurance. Now not only could I live forever but the naps would be much less frequent.
|
If what IHMN says is true about Kuruma, we definetly win since now the good guys have Kuruma + Kuruma-lite (SS's character). Also, I don't know how to give an inventor a second 'power', and am open to suggestions.
|
Yes, they do win, but only because that's the plot. SS's character can't copy Kurama, because Kurama's ability is linked to his sword. He can't use them without Raigaki, thus SS wouldn't be able to... and SS doesn't have Raigaki.

Here is my Character.
Name: Ishumo Side: Evil Race: Human Age: 25 Appearance: Ishumo stands at about 6 feet. He has brown hair which hangs over his green eyes. He prefers to wear light chain mail that doesn’t hinder his movements. Weapons: Ishumo alternates his fighting between dual wielding a sword breaker and long sword and a spear. Special Skill: Kumori Tanren - Shadow Forging: Ishumo can use nearby shadows to create items. These shadow items disappear in 24 hours or when Ishumo decides to get rid of them. After he creates something from a shadow the shadow is unharmed but cannot be used to create an item for 24 hours. History: Ishumo’s family was captured as slaves in the original Demon Wars. His parents were killed when he was very young, for rebellion, and he was raised by demons. After his training he quickly rose through the slave ranks, and in his spare time he trained in the use of weapons. He is a cold killer, and enjoys setting up ambushes for his enemies. He has just recently joined Team Evil. Extra: Ishumo is extremely paranoid and carries an assortment of smoke bombs, trip spikes and traps to prevent people from following him. |
I think I'll withdraw my good character, since Minty's playing Raiden's sidekick. This would coincidentally leave room for MC43. Go go Team Evil!

Name: Not Known. Goes by many names, but the most common is Garud.
Side: good Race: Not known. Appears to be Human Age: Current cycle-17 Apearance: short jet black hair, brown eyes, and medium build. Wears a robe, with a black cape. Weapons: A small dirk and a long rod that has an enchantment on it. It enhances his magic abilities, and can shapeshift to something of equal size. Special Abilities: Demonic magic. After studiing the art of various magics across the globe in his various lifecycles, he has found that demon magic is the most powerful, and practises it freely. Demonic magic is baased on twisting the fabric of reality. Unfortunately, the more powerful the spell, the more effort is needed and the more time is needed to cast it. Demonic magic is quite limited to destructive spells, but they can control every element except light. Usually, the spells he casts cost his energy (different to soul), but his superhuman cycle of life grants him the ability to survive. History: In the first cycle of his life, Garud was born into a family in ancient Greece, when stumbling across a mysterious Alter. When he touched it, he gained power and knowlege, beyond human comprehension. He knew he was here for something important. This newfound ability gave him multiple life cycles, returning every time he died. He used them to study the magics of the world. He also made raids on the demon worlds. In his current cycle, he has discovered that he has to find a being that holds a mystical sword, and to help that person slay the demon lord. I sent Raiden a pm, and he gave me the all clear for a mage job. If you have any problems with my character, dont be too shy to ask. EDIT: i have edited it for first time. If you want more changes, dont be afraid to post about it. Oh, and despite the seemingly impossible strength of Demonic magic, I will be using it limitedly. |
Give him a name dammit!
And it seems like you were trying too hard to appear to be "mystical" when you created him. Personally, I've always been a fan of down-to-earth, human mages. |
We can have a vague 'X magic' for a skill?
Edit - From what Garud's skills say, every time he casts a spell he would kill himself. And if it costs his soul, what is left to be reincarnated? |
Also, a brief add-on to what Krylo said.
He's entirely right. However, if Drak ever DID end up with Raigiki, he could use the same powers that Kurama did. Except these would drain Dark far faster than Kurama, making Kurama the far more effective Raigiki wielder. |
Looks like good guys have two immortal regenerators.
|
Good thing bad guys can seal people away.
|
Being Immortal really dosn't matter. Sense the only way a character can Die in an RP is if eaither the DM makes them die of you choose to let them die. So technically your ALL immortal lol. Its just I can have fun with letting my character get hit. Except by Krylo. Cause that would kill me.
|
SS, just one thing about copying Suzume's power, just to make it fair. You wouldn't be able to hold in demon souls forever. Basically, he sucks one in, then spits it right back out, mostly because he doesn't have control over the power. Just being fair.
And is it just me, or are a lot of people going to be reading many, many pages of almost pointless conversation, considering all the people we have in this. If that does happen, I'm gonna have one hell of a time catching up every day... |
The bad guys don't need to seal anything. The regeneration is based off an organ, and copying an ability would leave the weaknesses of that ability, I would assume... and Yaburu, as Mintaro has already pointed out, can turn all those organs to mush with a punch.
The good guys have the defensive edge, but the bad guys have the offensive edge. |
Actually, I am going to admit that many of the powers are things I won't touch. It'll be mostly skills that I copy.
Also, there is a chance for an awesome dramatic scene if my character and Krylo's character go at it. |
I was actually thinking pretty much the same thing... the most destructive technique times two?
|
I shudder to think up how long the first free-for-all battle with all 17+ combatents chapter will be.
|
Krylo- Yep. You read my mind.
|
RP is up. Go check it out.
And Garud, change your skills to something I can control. What you described basically gives you reign to pull anything. I don't mind if you want to do some arcane magic, but still. And no soul thing. You may have a whole bunch of life cycles, but once your soul is gone, you tend to not come back. And I would personally like to know what to call your guy. So just give him a name that he goes by. It may not be his real name, but it's a name he tells people. |
Edited my post, so check it for anything that might be wrong, and that needs to be modified.
|
Also, SS. You'd be able to copy Koyuki's sword techniques, but since you're unable to channel demon essence (Since you're not a demon), it'd just be a technique, without the bonus mortal-slayingness.
Also, when do those of us on Team Evil come in? Is Talkatz going to give us his "Go forth and destroy" mandate, or what have you? |
I was planning to hit the ground running by have my first post have Kirakiri finish interrogating someone for information about Kurama and have him either:
a) Go off and form a band of assorted fighty types to try to get rid of Kurama as soon as possible b) Infiltrate Kurama's group if feasible c) Go off and study Kurama's weaknesses (like learning his fighting style from his tutors) or d) Try to demoralise Kurama by killing everyone he cares about. I wasn't sure how viable some of these plans would be though. I might end up going with e) All of the above. |
Koyuki intends to find Kurama and challenge him to single combat... I do like your suitably evil ideas, perhaps we should work together on plan number 1 before proceeding? ;)
It seems the logical order. You don't need to demoralize someone if they're dead. |
Sounds sensible. Plan A (henceforth known as Plan Awesome) it is. We should get at least some of the evil side together.
|
since no-one has said anything about my edited post, i will just continue as im assuming it is alright.
|
Wouldent plan Awesome be easier to do if we did plan B first?
|
I'll go bug Koyuki. Because the family that slays together, stays together.
Go Team Evil White Haired Chicks! |

Works for me! By the way we have reached the post limit so we need a new discussion thread. Also my character is with the demons at the moment despite his being human do to his history.
